They were thinking about having a bit of fun, I wish more developers would borrow that idea too. We need more hidden stupid stuff. (Like the horse in Daytona)
Ok, yeah, Fighers Megamix was easy but that’s not the point, you’re supposed to learn all the moves with all the characters to get the most out of it…then there’s multi player and (ooohhh) the hyper mode. Anyone play that? It was crazy!!
I remember it was either high res and no effects or low res with gouraud (can’t spell…maybe) shading. I agree that they took the bad option.

Hyper mode was basically extrememly fast fighting. You could just hammer the buttons and the characters wouldn’t stop for breath. Great fun. Sometimes it was all down to who go the first hit in and carried on. In 2 player it was almost impossible to come back from an early beating. Only ALMOST impossible though!

In other words you could keep pressing kick and your fighter would kick constantly without stopping because usally you would stop for a second then you could start up again. Multiplayer?!? It was the breeding ground for button bashers! I tried facing my sisters after working up this great combo of moves and all she did was to that spin kick over and over and over -_- not very fun in my opinion…learning the moves? you only had to learn about 3 moves then you could take down an ememy by using them 3! for example, shun, do that move where he spins the thrusts his fists forward, then jump up and land on them while they are on the floor, maybe get a little drunk, then repeat ;\ lol, still, was fun bashing the hell in hyper mode and smaking them through that glass evalvator…lift for some people. That was my favorite level! The glass smashed and they fell all they way back to Earth…hehe.
Since we are talking about Fighters Megamix in particular now,which were everyone’s favourite characters?
Mine were:Ura Bahn,Wolf,Lion and Muhler.

No seriosuly, my favourite fighter was Pai!
She was a relatively easy character to master and her counters always got me out of some sticky situations. It was just a shame that her face turned into a low res’ mess when the camera zoomed in for taunts 
Akira and Kage are my next favourites. Tbh, I didn’t like the Fighting Vipers at all, probably because I grew accustomed to the VF style from VF2.

Shun was my favorite^^ I think it was (in buttons) A+B+C which did his cool move that sent them flying, then I just pushed up and B(?) to flip and cause more damage:) otherwise kage was my second favorite…anyone tried Jeffery’s backbreaker move? sounds badO_O one large CRACK.

I liked Raxel (or something) with the guitar. He was pretty easy to get on with and also Janet from Virtua Cop with the cheesy gun shot. Winning with that was so easy and it really pissed my mates off, hehe.
And Beserker, I know what you mean by learning the best move and using it over and over but some people like to go deeper and learn every move. Just cos you don’t necesserily need them doesn’t make it less fun.

she button bashed -_- I tried to tell her not to, but then she just got annoyed and never played again:P I did go deeper into it and tried to learn more moves, but I was younger then and just wanted all the secret stuff:P
