At least I know that my underpowered PC should be able to run most of the Myst series without too much trouble, since they aren’t really graphics intensive, if I’m right?
I think I’ll do some reading up about the games. They do look interesting and I’ve heard many recommendations - so who knows, I may just like them. 
realMyst and Uru are the only ones who require a bit more firepower.
I haven’t played Uru yet but it’s not really a Myst game in the sense that it doens’t have anything to do with the story of the myst games.
realMyst is a great game to if you can get it.It’s basically a 3D remake of Myst using the engine they were making for Uru.But it has enhanced sound,realtime weather conditions,animal life and some new areas to explore.It’s my favourite after Riven.
