Don’t worry Gehn, it really is simple - just like changing the batteries in a TV remote control, for example. If you’re really concerned, your Saturn instruction manual should explain how it’s done - or I’m sure someone here would walk you through the process.
I’ve just chatted to the friend that found these batteries for me, and they can indeed be bought from normal watch shops. Basically, he just walked in and asked for some CR2032 batteries. Prices vary, but they’re between ?1.00 and ?4.50 each around here.
You know those little remote controls you get with cars to automatically open/close the doors without using the key? Well, most are powered by the same batteries! That’s the only other use I know they have, and maybe perhaps giant watches? lol
[quote=“Lance”]Gehn: Buying a memory cartridge would be the best option, although I’d suggest that you try and track down an official Sega one. I’ve heard all sorts of bad things about third-party memory cards, but the official Sega one that I have works fine.

DO NOT BUY A "JOY"TECH MEMORY CARD!!!
I had one and it crashed my Saturn alot, i only used it for shining force becuase of the huge amounts of memory it takes, but i had to save every move incase it crashed, which it always did every 30-60 mins. And about a month ago my (ex)memory card wiped my entire hard drive!!!
Incredible work Rune Lai!!! The video is so beautifully done I could almost cry!!!
Seeing the video was like being transported back in time to when I was playing Saga in my Secondary school years on the Saturn!!! Those were the days!!! The music of the Goo Goo Dolls sure did help! Great choice! and the timing was excellent!!!
Panzer Dragoon Saga will always be a part of my life! Thanks so much once again Rune Lai!
Yeah, I guess that can be a bit difficult. What I did is I put it up in a temp folder on my own web site and let Solo download it. I’m not sure what I would have done otherwise.
Nothing wrong with using near identical footage though. Though there are quite a few cut scenes in PDS, a good many of them aren’t particularly suitable for music videos. There were a couple scenes where I would cut away right before what I would call “one of Edge’s embarrassing moments” where he’d do some unglamorous as far as the music video was concerned. I was thinking of doing a second PDS music video some time but I know I’d have to think on it for a bit to avoid recycling more footage than I’d have to.
Kind of off the subject, but I’ve always daydreamed about doing a music video to the song “Dude Looks Like a Lady” by Aerosmith featuring Kuja from FF9. If only I had talent…
I haven’t tried viewing them with the cpk convertor, but there’s no reason they shouldn’t be. I’d like to see a PD action video sometime, especially if I don’t get around to making one myself.

I would be delighted to see your skills used in a new video, Rune Lai. And yours too TSE!
Hey, congrats on your own video TSE. I’ve only just downloaded it - a very nice job you did there
Yeah, it’d be interesting to see how videos with PD1 or Zwei footage would work out. Or videos with a rock/alternative soundtrack - would PD work with rock music?
