Welcome to the forums Rune Lai. I hope our incessant debating didn’t discourage you from joining.
Actually, I love the debating. Watching you and Lance go at it everyday was part of why I kept coming back. I’m afraid I don’t know the games nearly well enough to join in, but it makes for good reading.
Just seen the video… great work Rune Lai!
I liked the way you linked what was happening in the cut scenes with what was actually being said in the song, you know, instead of just throwing any old cut scene in there. They complement each other perfectly.
I liked the way you ended it too, with Edge catching Azel from her fall,
“It’s lonely where you are, come back down, and I won’t tell them your name.”
Hehe. Makes me want to play PDS all over again
Hey, thanks - it’s reassuring to know that we’re not scaring people off with the rambling
Are ya kidding? This is the only place on the net where there is such rambling. We aren’t scaring anyone off; it’s the main attraction!
It actually did make me start playing PDS again.
I just fixed the site problem so the link to the video and software needed to run it should show up on the main page now.
It’s under update 89.
It would have made me play PDS again, if only my Saturn and PDS weren’t a good seven-hour drive away.
Oddly enough, making the video made me play PDS all over again too. I hadn’t played it in years, but I had always wanted to make a music video for it if I ever got the chance. Then I discovered I actually had Movie Maker on my computer and figured “Why not?” and ripped all the movies off the CDs with the acpk2avi app. After composing the first draft of the video I was in such a Panzer mood that I replayed the game. Then I did the second draft and sent it to Solo.
RYB, I like the ending too. That was actually the very first scene that came to my mind when I thought I might want to make a PDS video to the GooGoo Dolls’ “Name.” Without that image in my head I probably wouldn’t have done the rest of it.
I want to play Panzer Dragoon Saga as well.It has been like what… …3 years!
My Saturn has that battery problem and I can’t save things.I would like to play Saga :’(

The new CR2032 batteries are not working? Maybe the metal contacts are broken. I think this is not very hard to fix.
What do you mean by NEW?
I guess that you bought an used Saturn, right? Maybe the battery is dead, so you have to buy a new CR2032 and change it in the back of the console.
If a dead battery is the only problem this should solve it.
No.I buyed a new Saturn. That was back in 1997 tho.Problem is that I dunno how to install the battery nor a I sure that I can get it round here.
Plus won’t buying a save cartdrige solve my problem?
Maybe you can find a memory card instead…
Yes a cartridge will solve the problem, but it’s better to take off the dead battery from your system. I’m not sure about this but I was told that it can leak corrosive substances inside your system and damage it. There should be a plastic port in the back of the saturn. You open it and pull off the battery.
Gehn: Buying a memory cartridge would be the best option, although I’d suggest that you try and track down an official Sega one. I’ve heard all sorts of bad things about third-party memory cards, but the official Sega one that I have works fine.
You probably should take the old battery out of your Saturn, too. There’s a little clip-on panel on the back of the Saturn, and the battery is just inside there. It should come out quite easily.
A far as I know, CR2032 batteries are easier to find than you might think. I got hold of some spares from a Saturn-owning friend, and I believe he got them from a regular watch shop(?). The Saturn battery is basically a large watch battery - I have no idea what they’re used for in the real world, but it seems they’re quite easy to come by.
You installed it yourself?
The battery? Hell yeah. Come on, even TSE the little five-year-old could do it.
