The one thing that really ruined the film for me was Vadar falling to his knees and crying out “Nooooooooo!” after hearing the news of Padme’s untimely demise.

Yeah, that was pretty agonising. I was wondering if they actually got James Earl Jones back for the role, though - if they didn’t, someone was doing a pretty good impression.

Btw, just to throw fat on the fire (or whatever the saying is), I’d rate the SW episodes something like (best to worst):

3, 2, 1, 5, 4, 6 (though I haven’t seen ESB in ages).

I generally think the entire series was ineptly scripted, ineptly acted, abysmally directed and beautiful to look at. And the newer ones look a lot nicer
