Since this is the "Hi I'm new" board

I recently started listening to the music from Panzer Dragoon games again and got inspired to surf related web pages, and this morning I drew something maybe just a little bit influenced by Panzer Dragoon :stuck_out_tongue: . Having stumbled on this particular web site several times already (how long HAS this site been going?) I figured it wouldn’t hurt to register and post.

So… uh. Hi.

Don’t worry, I don’t usually post much.

Feel free to post as much as you like, computerlizard! Minor peripheral websites like this one which are full of old gaming fogies like us dreaming about the glory days and acting condescending about the new generations need as much help they can get to give them the impression of being busy.

Welcome to The Will of the Ancients, we hope you enjoy your time here! Impressive artwork, by the way, it’s well-stylised. :anjou_happy:

I knew someone from Finland - he was called Lasse Sipila and went by the internet handle of Insane. Unfortunately, I lost contact with him when he went on National Service.

Welcome to the site, computerlizard.

This place has been online since around 2000 when it was formally known Azel Online. It became The Will of the Ancients around 2002 and has undergone several design changes since, so maybe you saw it when it looked different as well. I think Lagi’s Art of Panzer Dragoon site is the oldest of the English Panzer Dragoon sites.

Nice drawing btw :anjou_happy:

Welcome to the boards…again.

But that picture is really well done, it reminds me of one of the first monsters you encounter in battle during Panzer Dragoon Saga in the canyon.

Not bad.Welcome btw.

that pictures pretty cool

and welcome =)

OPPS :anjou_embarassed: sorry i was only trying to fix my message.

Haha, sorry, it seems I deleted your double post while you were fixing it =x Try using the edit button on the top left of your post, and welcome to the forums!

I know what you are thinking, REAL corny, right? Well I don't think so. :anjou_happy:
Welcome Dm03.

:anjou_happy:
:anjou_happy: I just thought of a quote!! :anjou_happy:

The only thing corny is your massive use of smileys… :anjou_happy:

O ge thanks :anjou_sad:

Yeah, your quote was kind of cool.

I don’t hate smileys (I use Korean ones a lot, e.g. ^^ ><) but when you have seven in a row (eg. :anjou_love: ) it’s a bit overkill.

Hope I didn’t offend.

No you didnt offend me, i was being an idot and “cute” at the same time, thanks for the message you sent me. :anjou_happy:

Great piece Liz, I love the style, looks like something that wouldn’t be out of place in the ending credits art of a Panzer Dragoon game. Great work.

OLD FOGEY’S!? I’m 18 for christ’s sake!

Anyway, welcome.

18 going on 80 =)
