I like your mystery section btw Solo - TWOTA keeps getting better and better
Altho my panzer dragoon site is better still.
And in addition - whilst playing through Saga i also wondered about Gash’s face - but i never found out about it. All i know is that Edge gasps when he shows him. But why did Gash show him - was there a reason?[/quote]
…now I’m sorta depressed…great…he did gasp yeah…I wanted to see why he did at the time…damn none showing…

You have a PD site? If so, I’d love to see it.
no matter what I’ll probably always think that TWOTA is the best…probably due to me getting extreamly annoyed that I couldn’t find PDS music until I came here, then I was amazingly relieved^^
I’m sticking with TWOTA to the end! who’s with me! crickets cheep

My exact thoughts
Calm down guys, we don’t need this on the on topic board. Berserker, I think you should read the light bulb thread that RYB posted on the Liberal District a while ago (before you came I think), it might clear up the sort of posting that can annoy people: panzerdragoon.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=298
I think that helps…thanks solo:) lol, it was funny reading it as well xD
haven’t posted anything here recently but I came out with another question…how did lundi knew that the gun he picks up in the first episode is “the” gun and how can that gun…picked randomly from the ground…upgrade itself while the dragon changes it’s form? :o
talking of guns… why did Edge’s gun malfunction only once then act perfectly for the rest of saga?

I don’t think he really thought about whether it was “the” gun. At the start of the game, Lundi wants revenge I think he picked it up because it was A gun the THE gun. As for the gun upgrading, well, it didn’t really… that was because of the sort of level-based system, i think, like in shining force, for example, synbios’ sword doesn’t get sharper as the game progresses, your stats just improve. I suppose he might upgrade it himself or something, like edge does. We know from saga that we didn’t see EVERYTHING that happened to him. The thing that I want to know is “where did the gun come from?” I mean, thats a pretty special gun, a relic from the ancients age, none the less, what was it doing just inside the village of Elpis? Possibly it was unearthed by the explosion or something, but who knows?
Gunblade that is the greatest of the PD mysteries. What is really hard to believe is the fact that it’s a dragon gun.Ancient guns might be rare but dragon gus should be insanely rare (and normally are connected to a specific dragon).
Scott:your question is a little bit easier to answer but it still is a somewhat “itchy assumption” : the gun (beeing a dragon gun connected to Lagi in this case) only “turned itself ON” when Lagi awaked.
I mean one can also put this question : why didn’t Lagi appear earlier?
Wel it took him some time to sense Edge’s situation. In that precise moment (and that’s my theory) did the gun start to function.
How about the Dragon Guns (Can we find a better name for them please? That sounds so corny) only work with Dragoons? Edge wasn’t a Dragoon yet he only became a Dragoon AFTER he touched and rode and connected with Lagi with this special Dragon-Dragoon bond we all know about, the gun recognised him as a Dragoon from then on, thus it worked
Me and Solo figured out this mystery some time ago: the safety switch was on.
In his panic, Edge failed to release the child lock.
I’d go with Gehn on this one… the gun was probably somehow linked to Lagi, or to ancient bioweapons. Perhaps the Ancients designed the guns to only work when the dragons and their drone riders worked together. Pandora’s Box mentions this fail safe theory, which I believe to be quite likely. What is a bit of a mystery is at the end of disc 1 when Edge encounters Arwen… the gun does not seem to work there. It does, however, work later inside the Tower and in Zoah I seem to remember. I wonder if the gun somehow reacts to surrounding ancient technology (the guardian fire and the Tower)?
