On finding this site I’ve come to realize that it’s the best PD site I’ve come across. I see a lot of interesting topics on the forums so I signed up.
Unforunately I was a bit daft :anjou_embarassed: and picked a name (Drenholm@msn.com) which it turned out didn’t “ring” so much, and besides it might have got confused with an existing member, Drenholm himself (sorry!)
Luckily, Solo Wing kindly changed the name for me, so now there shouldn’t be any confusion .

Coincidently, i’m commonly known on the net as Atolm (not a name that is generally already taken), and nearly called myself Atolm_Dragon, but decided against it for similar reasons.
Yep. Dear old (compared to me, anyhow :P) Atolm would have had her name nicked by myself at Die Welt if I hadn’t decided on my oh-so-witty Arc’engal username instead.

hehe, I couldn’t think of a name… I tried “Panzer” as a name but all of the names i tried were taken… I tried putting my name and it worked =)

LOL, same here. Everyone I know in most art communties know me as Atolm and in the rare occurance if the name is taken, Black Leviathan or Black Atolm.
Although the one time that really irked me was when I got my Livejournal, someone already snagged the name. >.>

Atolm’s an in-demand handle, I see. I generally use Drenholm as a net name, but when I came here I saw I’d been pipped to the post ages before, so Ancient Weapon sprung to mind as that is the (very cool) music which plays when you battle Drenholm in PDS. Anyway, I’ll probably end up using that name elsewhere as the sound of it is growing on me.
I guess one of the first battles in the early stages of any forum is the mad scramble for user names!
