I think the ones that are more subtle, making your eyes flow to each side throughout the asymmetrical lines are best.
After endlessly staring at them, I think I like 1 from the second list as it has the same effect but in a different style.
But If I had to choose a second it would also be 2 like you said, because the lines continue on without a break to each side.
But at most, I think it might come down to personal preference…
Updated it - I think it’s suitable as the pattern is very definitive of Panzer Dragoon.
Just to be picky, I moved up the middle section so everything is more evenly spaced. What do you think?
I actually prefer it as is. The unevenness makes it feel a bit more organic if that makes sense?
I think I see what you mean. Having moved the middle up, puts things in a much too ordered manner. Having the pattern in a step by step artificial pattern. While the old way is a bit spontaneous and natural.
I guess I’m just being a little too finicky.
