You’re trying to suggest that he’s too old to be Kyle; I’m saying he wasn’t too old to reach the excavation site. Therefore I wouldn’t conclude he was very old at all.
Radgam could be Kyle. The possibility has always existed.
I wouldn’t base a theory on the gun alone which he refers to as “a shrine to his fallen comrades”, because Kyle lost his gun at the end of Panzer Dragoon. However, the possibility nonetheless remains, and his gun is indeed identical to the one the Sky Rider once wielded.
Hopefully I can obtain a screenshot of Radgam’s gun in the near future.
Yeah, I think it’s highly possible that Radgam is Kile’s friend who was left behind in PDE. To me it would have been TA’s homage to the first game. And whilst he probabaly looks older than he would have been, someone mentioned that life expectancy in the PD world is low, so at 40, he may have looked 60 or older because of the harsh environments of the world.
Radgam could not have been the companion of Kyle who stayed behind unless the ambush he is referring to is a different ambush from the one seen in the PD intro. He talks of only one other survivor in the ambush he describes: Aldo. Kyle lived through the burrower ambush seen during the intro.
Who knows, maybe Radgam and Aldo were Kyle’s travelling companions in Panzer Dragoon, and later the three happened upon another ambush where Kyle did not survive.
People disputed the similarities between Lundi’s initial gun and that which the Sky Rider uses, yet here, Radgam’s gun matchs that of the Sky Rider in every detail. TA would not have included such a coincidence for the hell of it.
If Kyle was 16 in Panzer Dragoon then he’d be 46 in PD Saga – almost the same age as Craymen. There’s no reason to believe Kyle had died of old age by the time Edge embarked on his journey. I won’t believe that Kyle just disappeared.
