Iâm curious, though the majority answer here at pd.net might (or might not) be obvious.
A PD RPG, of course. What are you, blind?
votes for Halo 2
Weâre talking about a potential Panzer Dragoon Saga 2 here, so no need to guess where my vote goes.
Ditto.
I knew Shadow would vote for Halo
PD RPG gets my vote, naturally
PD AAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL the way.No rrom for doubt.Even if it would become the shittiest pd game ever.
Oh and whatâs that in your sig TSE?! >(
Freakin spanish people still consider us niferior do they. You can tell your spanish teacher do go fuck himself please.
I wouldnât even consider Halo 2.
The only game that might make it a tough decision would be NiGHTS 2.

Nah. I just mispronounced some stuff and made it Portuguese, but I thought it was pretty funny. And its âfuck herselfâ.
And yes, I am blind. How bout if it was a shooter, not a RPG?
Considering I never really got into Halo 1, Iâll still say the shooter.
Besides, we already know that Halo 2 will come out, itâs just a matter of when. Now PD on the other hand, thatâs a different storyâŚ
Iâll explain my choice of Halo 2. I know that game will be great, whereas I donât know if PDS2 will be any good at all. Basically, I trust Bungie more than Amusement Vision.
For all the subtile bashing of Panzer Games, especially Orta, why do you even visit these forums? Not trying to sound rude, but I read a lot of posts, and see a kind of discrete comments made by you and canât figure why exactly you make them. You havenât given any reason for disliking Orta that I have found that explains your contempt for a new game.
Like I said before, why? You would trust a company whom seems to be riding the hype train, over the team that created Orta, a good game? I like Halo and all, but Goldeneye was a better shooter.
Halo is a magnificent game, doubtless. I donât know whether or not you like Halo (or have played it), but as a mad Halo fan, Iâm looking forward to Halo 2.
I can see where Shadow is coming from, cause I have no doubt that Halo 2 will be great, but as for another Panzer: who knows?
It is pretty true that no one on these boards can definitely say that another Panzer game will totally rock. (except for Gehn, who claims so).
As for Orta, I have issues with Orta as well. I could be alone in saying this, but Orta left out a lot of major elements that were found in the other Panzer games, and therefore I didnât like it as much.
So donât worry, Frelled, Shadowâs isnât plotting to undermine Panzer or anything. Besides, weâre all entitled to our own opinions, right?
Frelled:
I can see how you can think that I would dislike Orta, but my love for the other Panzer games are as strong as any other forum memberâs. For me, Orta was a disappointment in terms of gameplay and continuity of the series. The look and feel of the game wasnât like anything weâd seen before, it was far too cartoony for my liking. That isnât to say the graphics werenât good, far from it. It was just the style which seemed to betray everything that made Panzer what it was visually.
I dislike Orta because I love the other games too much, and Orta is too different from them. Because PDS2 will be made by the same team (more or less) that made Orta, Iâm pretty sure that theyâll have the same style in the game, and the same continuity misfits.
To directly answer your questions:
I come to this forum for the community here, to be honest. My number of posts in the Seekers Stronghold doesnât really compare to my numbers elsewhere. Iâm sure when a new Panzer game is announced Iâll be more interested in the Panzer side of things.
And I trust Bungie because they havenât disappointed me, and they donât look as if they will do. Quite simply I enjoy Halo far more than I enjoyed Orta.
And one last thing, I have no contempt for a new game, Iâd just prefer it to be a game to rival the old Panzers. I donât think thatâll happen, so naturally I am pessimistic about it.
Youâre hoping youâll be disappointed, right Shadow? You expect the worst in the hopes of being pleasantly surprised?
I will surprised if we even see a new Panzer game within the next few years. However, no one expected Sega to resurrect the series with Panzer Dragoon Orta, and for that reason alone we can never be too sure what the future holds for the series.
Of course, I want the game to be the best thing ever. Whatâs the point in hoping for a shit game? Besides, this is my favourite game series of all time.
A new Panzer Dragoon game all the way.
Although is anyone planning on skipping school/work when Halo 2 comes out? Thats a pretty pathetic thing to do but man i am pumped up about Halo 2.

Wrong.I siad I was the only one to be sure of a sequel. Not that it would rock.
I probably wonât, but I can see why some people might do that If it was something I was really excited about I might arrange the time off, but usually I can wait for a short while.
Iâm quite sure that Halo 2 will be an awesome game, if itâs anything like the first game (which I loved). However, I trust the ex-Smilebit members to create a more original game. Bungie have played it safe by sticking to the traditional FPS formula - and they have still made a really good game by doing that - but I think the new Amusment vision are more likely to try something innovative with the next Panzer Dragoon.
