Family Problems.....HELP!

So that’s what keeps you from making sense…

was I beeing sarcastic here?

Your words confused me, darn you…darnnn you…Well this topic has obviously been led astray. Sha’'ll we get back to topic?

Hang in there Sharky. Maybe a new Shining Force game is on the horizon to lift our spirits (I assume you’re the same Sharky from Shining Force Central?).[/quote]

I think me and her would get along well ;p
I dont think she sould care… there isnt anything to be happy about
and people just dont seem to understand,
hope she dont snap my head owf though ;p

Everything really sucks but tell her to keep her head up
cause she is different to most other people makeing her
better then them in a way wouldnt you say,…
might feel bad but some people will see her as better then most
BECAUSE she is how she is… there is nothing worse then being ordinary!

Nothing worse than being ordinary, huh? Tika is doing a good job not being ordinary.

Like the little emotional breakdown she had in the middle of school today. I think something’s bad again, but this time, she won’t even tell me what is wrong with her.

Poor girl…i feel for her, i would go there and comfort her, but unfourtunately im bound by imaginable lines over the net…

Tika will get better with time… I hope. She’s not as bad as she used to be, but…

Seems to me like she’s having quite the mental battle…Pysical battles may go away when won, but mental battles are harder to win…I know this because of my friends and the things they told me about themselves…

… Dude, you suddenly turned sane and it scares me…

Anyway, I’m thinking of trying to talk to her parents about it. They don’t like me, but they’re also unaware that they are intimidating Tika and making her miserable. They are trying, so I guess I could try to help them out by telling them what I know.

Tika is too afraid to talk to them, I don’t know anyone else who will, and if they don’t figure out what they are doing to her, she may lose it.

This is not something to joke around about so thats why im sane for now, and i hope you are succesfull, you might save her life…

Hope so, but I may need to talk to her mom first. Her dad thinks of me as “A bad influence,” because I don’t practice the same religion and he is under the impression I am Wiccan or a Satanist or Vampiric. shrugs I dunno where he got that, but I’ll try to talk to her mom. She’s okay with me.

Erm… out of curiousity, what religion do you practice?

I’m a Lutheran. Why?

Obvisously her dad judges people for their outer apperance.

Lutheranism is the same damn religion as any sect of Christianity. People need to realize that it’s a different sect, not a different religion.

He is Christian, right?

Jehova’s Witness.

He thinks that because I don’t attend his kind of church (Kingdom Hall) and that I celebrate holidays that I am a bad person.

Dumb guy, it makes me angry listening to how her father acts. Very angry…

In the end they are differen religions.Even if the differences are slight, the beliefs are somewhat different. And that’s what makes a religion…

Actually, Gehn, it’s still the same religion. What defines Christianity is the believe in the Christ as the Savior.

Just as Islam is the belief that Mohammed was the last prophet, etc.

All sects of Christianity share that belief. It’s the way those beliefs are expressed, interpretations of the Bible, and the way the religion itself practiced that differentiates the sects.

Well what makes belief then?

“Belief” is simply the act of thinking something is true, with or without implicit proof. You can believe in something because you have seen proof of it, or you can believe in something, purely based on faith (the hope that something is true, or the gut feeling that something is true).
