Not true.

So Ubisoft dropped the game, Warner Bros. looked for another publisher and found Sega?

Not entirely true either, but that’s all I’m going to say.

This has something to do with a Ubi VS Sega match for sure…

I guess it doesn’t really matter what happened anyway :wink: But a lot of people didn’t understand Sega’s enthusiasm about the game after Ubisoft didn’t want to publish it (at least that’s what most people think). It’s one of the reasons why they were disappointed by Sega’s big announcement. In their eyes, Sega is simply publishing a game that nobody wanted.

Which is something that is completely understandable. However, let me assure you, that is not the case.

That’s not why I’m dissappointed at them.Sega could have been the first of many interested in it and I still don’t like it.

Matrix Online is based on a universe I don’t really like and I never liked when Sega made a game based on an existing franchise…
