Cali comm tour 2004

so i went to this concert up in portland oregon last night (the 20th) and saw:

opening group - can’t remember
zion I - great stage presence
haiku d’etat - awesome group made up of abstract rude, aceyelone, and another guy i had never seen but was also cool
then del the funky homosapien came out

anyway, some of you may know that del is a huge gamer and makes that hobby known (especially in the song “protoculture”)- but anyway, he took a few minutes just to talk about his new gameboy advance and how he got guardian heroes for it. at this point there was a silence on the crowd and i yelled out “I HAVE THAT ON MY SATURN!!” so then he started talking about saturns for a while and mentioned the panzer games as well as burning rangers!

i had smoked hookah with some friends before the show (and maybe something else! :anjou_wow: so it was all pretty cool.

if cali comm comes near you, i suggest you check it out since it’s a great line up this year.

That’s some pretty unordinary stuff right there.

Other similar things to do in Scotland with the same results:

Shout “Rangers suck” in Ibrox.
Shout “Celtic are crap!” in Parkhead.
Walk around with fake tan on and a sign saying “I am an Iraqi” whilst in Sighthill.
Slap a ned.
Ask someone for spare change.

scottish inside jokes only work when there are other scots around! :anjou_angry:

i know a guy that is going to college in glasgow; his name is colin curwen-mcadams.

if you see him, punch him and tell him to leave sophia alone! :anjou_angry:
