Big Brother: Would you go on it?

Ok, BB5 is starting soon in the UK. I’m not going to watch it, since it’s trash, but to be honest, I think going on that show would be an interesting experience.

Would you guys (and gals) go on it? Just tick the box!

Oh, and if you don’t know what Big Brother is, it’s a reality TV show. Check out channel4.co.uk or whatever if you desperately want to find out.

I would never go.That show is degrading and not even fun enough to make me take a peek at it so…

Well if I was offered large amounts of money I wuold consider

I voted “no”, because, not only do I loathe Big Brother with every fibre of my being, but imagine being away from any sort of console/computer for THAT LONG

i think the whole program is just stupid.

A resounding “no” from me too; I mean what advantages are there to going on that programme?

Hell NO! The idea is actually OK and maybe I WOULD go if it was executed decently but I can’t stand the way players act (take that word any way you want) in there what with crying over ppl that exit or getting supposed emotionally attached and what not… It could be fun to go in if it was set up like a camp kinda but when everyone acts and is driven to act in such ways as if it’s the end of the world with everything that happens and not SIMPLY A FRIGGIN GAME that lasts a few months is just ridiculous.
Again, HELL NO!
And no, I don’t watch it, but I’ve seen bits and pieces since they show that trash even on the news >:(
!!!ARGH!!!
These shows are one of the reasons I rarely watch TV nowadays…

Someone who thought Rio Di Janairo (sp…) was a football player became a millionairess.

I certainly wouldnt go on the show, it makes you a national laughing stock. I also think it would be hard to be on camera 24/7, i dont know if i could cope with the stress!

That’s just it.People who go there are usually like that.

Oh and it’s “Rio de Janeiro” which in case you guys don’t know means “January River”

having to spend a month or however long they make you stay there undoubtably be boring and stupid.

i’d consider going on survivor, though… it could be stupid, but i doubt boring.

I’d go if they were to make it into a proper scientific experiment. It would kick-start my career into the human guinea pig industry.

My eyes were permanently glued to the telly during the last series of Big Brother.

Yes, the house mates were boring and there was next to nothing of interest going on in the house, but I couldn’t help myself! I even stayed up late to watch it in the early hours and read all the text messages that people were sending in lol.

I know I’m gonna be sucked into the next series. I don’t know what it is, but I can’t resist BB! Especially now that it’s turned “evil”… 0_o

As for going on the actual show, I wouldn’t even consider it. I don’t think I could cope being permanently monitored for entertainment’s sake, no matter how much the prize money is.

Kaage…I thought you were a cool guy…

There goes respect Maru!

Revives Gehn

I’m cooler than ice, baby

Besides, I’m proud of being a couch potato :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes but Big Brtoher?

Ill forgive you if you tell me one of the participants is a hot fine lass.

We won’t find out who the contestents are until the new series starts tomorrow night (after the very last episode of Friends! Please, no spoilers!).

I reckon Kate Lawler has been the finest lass on the show to date. She was also the winner of BB UK 2002!

Here’s a pic:

What about that Portuguese girl I heard about?

Big Brother… shudders

You’re right Gehn, I’ve just been watching BB on Channel 4 and one of the house mates is a Portuguese girl.

But get this: she’s not a “she”.

I can’t wait to see the other house mates’ reaction when she spills the beans lol

The bunch of house mates that were chosen are unique to say the least. I think the most interesting house mate I’ve seen is Marco; he was the first to enter the house and is the most girliest gay guy I’ve ever seen! He makes me laugh though lol

I realise not many of you like BB, but did anyone watch it? Even for curiosity’s sake? If so, what do you think of it so far?

So… what is the point of that show, anyway? I’ve never watched it, and I don’t really dig any of the reality shows, but all I know is that a bunch of people live in a house together.

Then what?
