The Divine Visitor’s screen shutting down is all the proof I need to confirm that it exited Edge’s body. When the Divine Visitor turned off the Heresy dragon (which didn’t happen immediately), it turned itself off in the process.

And when I say I can confirm that the Divine Visitor left Edge, I know it happend. I will say no more.

I’m not sure about the idea of the “Divine Visitor” turning itself off: as in, why and how would the player turn itself off? The fact that the “screen” dies out only at the very end could arguably suggest that the Divine Visitor only separated from Edge at that point, too; although admittedly this scene is very dependant on interpretation.

BTW, I’m not trying to argue that the player definitely hadn’t left Edge by that final scene: although as you can tell I get the impression that it hadn’t. I’m just trying to point out that there’s no actual evidence of the player leaving him by that time, because none of the implications quite stand up to scrutiny; the “evidence” of this final sequence does make sense from the standpoint that Edge and the player were still “bonded” at the time. (If it didn’t I wouldn’t be arguing this point, because I’m a horrendously sceptical guy anyway.)

WooHoo!! Orta is my daughter!! This explains why she is so beatiful, smart and strong!! XD XD
