Oh my… That’s a large one. I’m downloading it now, but it’s gonna take a while. :\

Heh, yeah. It’s an awesome song, but also long as hell.
Speaking of the song, anyone who’s heard it before seeing the video gets a cookie.
I’m downloading your video as I type this, Windrider. 17.7 megs is quite large, but I’ll try and find room for it. Also, if it goes on the site it probably won’t be for a week or two as I’m doing a, um, “sort out” of the site at the moment. I hope that’s okay with you.
I watched TSE and Nevey’s videos and liked them, especially the Imaginary one (I like Evanesence) . It’s great to see this kind of creativity put into PD fan projects, don’t you think?
Cheers for the nice comments, Lance, Solo and TSE…
So, that’s me, Daz, TSE, Orta, Arcie, SegaTecToy and Solo now, Gehn…XD
Meh.I’ll have to make a video of my own with some prog music then XD
Only then will you guys learn REAL MUSIC!
Yeah, sorry about that. I tried to compress it, but it only took off a few hundred k, so it was hardly worth it. You’re welcome to try, if you want.
By the way, since you seem to like that name so much, should I just create a new account with it to cut down on confusion (at least a little)? All these different names are making me a little schizophrenic.
I’m just in the habit of calling you that because of your old name - don’t feel you have to change it because of me. If you like, I could change it through the admin panel, meaning that all your previous posts would be marked under the name “Windrider”.
Marvelous job, Bluefoot. It’s a bit on the long side for me (this is the first 11 minute video I’ve ever seen!), but you have a good sense of timing the clips to the music. I particularly enjoyed the series of cross-fades around the 7:20-7:30 mark. It’s my favorite sequence in the video.
Thanks!
Oh, and Solo, it’s probably not worth it. Thanks for offering, though.
Wow… your site still hasn’t been torn into pieces, Bluefoot.
What’s with all this WMV nonsense? Windows Media Video SUCKS and I can’t emphasize that enough. If you’re to take the time to make these kickass music videos, then PLEASE use better video compression such as Xvid or Divx. Not only will the filesizes be considerably shortened, they will also be of better quality, and will run on my Linux machine without me having to recompile Xine or mplayer to support WMV.
Just my .02
We’re using Windows movie maker, which only makes wmvs. I personally haven’t a clue as to how to convert that to DivX. I’ll look into it.
Well, here’s this: regnow.com/softsell/visitor. … i2divx.zip
This converts WMV to Divx, though it would be better if you were to create the Divx on-the-fly without using the WMV as the source…otherwise, there will be a loss of quality. There are other movie creating programs out there…please name the one you want to use, and I will send you the crack for it.
They aren’t proffesionals, they use WMM cos it’s simple and easy and doesn’t need any kind of research to decide what to use since it’s included in their Windows version and they’ve done great work with it…And in case you haven’t noticed this isn’t a warez forum…
Yup, Alex pretty much hit the nail on the head. This is a just-for-the-hell-of-it kind of thing, and I certainly don’t want to deal with cracked software for a whole variety of reasons. I appreciate the offer though.
TSE, I thought you had jinxed me there for a second. But, as of 1:17 AM U.S. Central Standard Time, the page is very much alive and kicking. I am in-VINCE-ible!
Like kadamose said DIVX videos are WAAAY better than WMV. There are freewares that can convert WMV to DIVX automatically. You have to make some choices though: WMV plays automatically after downloaded and not everyone have a divx player but DIVX has better quality and less megas.
After saying that, I have to congratulate everyone who made or is making these videos. The PD footage is being well used and the musics used actually rocks! Thanks everyone!
