I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in helping run a Team Ico fan site, covering Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian? Looking around the web, there doesn’t appear to be many sites covering the game. The largest one is The Cursed Lands, but it’s kind of dead and the forums are full of spam. It would be great to create a community site for these games like TWOTA is to Panzer Dragoon and Crimson Dragon.
The problem is, I’m not as knowledgable of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus as I am of the Panzer Dragoon series. I’ve only completed each game once. As such, this isn’t the kind of project I would likely undergo on my own. If the project were to go ahead, I would require the help of several admins who could help with the content side of things. They would need to be dedicated fans of the games who would want to post news or content submitted by other fans on a semi-regular basis. They would need to have a good knowledge of the games and an eye for detail, correct spelling and grammar.
If the project did go ahead I would use a modified version of TWOTA’s content management system to power the site. The site would look similar, with the same ways of finding content - by category or by media type. The similar interface would mean that it wouldn’t take too much development effort to get up and running. TWOTA’s content management system uses a web interface like these forums to add and edit content, like these forums, so no programming or HTML knowledge would be required for people to help out.
If anyone is interested in helping out with such a project, let me know. Whether I go ahead with the project will depend on how much interest there is.
