What's on everyone's to-get list for 2007?

2007 has but a few months left, so what’s on everyone’s to-get list before the year closes out? My personal list:

Mass Effect (360)
Lego Star Wars Complete (360)
Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of Illuminus (360)
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii)

Mass Effect (360)
Assassin’s Creed (PC - I’ll maybe get it for 360)
Crysis (PC)

Xbox360 (dunno which or when I should get it;I finally got the money though :anjou_happy: )
Mass Effect(360)
Halo 3(360)

And that’s it.Until christmas anyways where I’ll hopefully refuel if you know what I mean. (Pssst I don’t have a job)

Mass Effect.

And that’s it.

Not much. I intend on getting Suda 51/GHM’s No More Heroes, but beyond that, there’s not all that much that’s appealing. I look forward to being surprised by anything that might be announced or released last-minute this year, but I don’t expect to be.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Atourney
Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
Zelda on ze DS
Twilight Princess

Then, I dunno? Any other good looking DS/Gamecube games I suppose.

If we’re allowed to put down games that we plan on getting that have already been released, then I’ve got more:

I’m planning on importing a European Dreamcast with the PAL versions of Shenmue and Shenmue II.

I’m going to be getting Earthbound (complete with the box and Player’s Guide) off of ebay.

I’m going to be importing the Japanese versions of all of the Panzer games just for the sake of collection.

I’ll be importing the PAL boxset versions of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, along with a European PS2: the European versions of both of those games have so many extras not found in my NTSC copies! :frowning:

Essentially, this year is less about new games, for me, and more about filling voids in my collection/getting games I’ve been meaning to for a long time.

Assassin’s Creed
Mass Effect
Rock Band
Ratchet & Clank

(Already picked up Halo and Bioshock)

a Wii and NiGHTS: JoD

if it makes it out before the year is up that is…

I thought Journey of Dreams had been delayed until 2008.

Well, if it does make it out this year, it should definitely be added to my list.

It’s delayed to next year. It’ll ship around the same time Samba de Amigo ships, which is also close to when Ikaruga and Rez will show up on Xbox Live Arcade.

dreamcast comin’ liek wut

Yet more reasons to buy a 360!

If you weren’t being sarcastic that is… :anjou_sigh:

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations for me.

Is it necessary to play FE: Path of Radiance before picking up FE: Radiant Dawn? Because I loved the Fire Emblem games on the GBA, but never got around to playing the GC installment.

Anyways, games I will definitely be picking up this year:

The Orange Box (360)
Puzzle Quest (360) - This Wednesday apparently.
Tomb Raider Anniversary (360)
Guitar Hero III (360)
Virtua Fighter 5 (360)
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Wii)
Ghost Squad (Wii)
Mass Effect (360)

I really need to download the demo of Sega Rally Revo, still haven’t made up my mind about that one.

Not in the slightest. Ikaruga is coming to Xbox Live Arcade with updated graphics. Rez is getting widescreen support and 5.1 surround sound. Xbox 360 is basically Dreamcast 2.0 in my eyes.

Radiant Dawn continues the storyline from Path of Radiance, so from a storyline point of view, I would definitely consider sitting down with Path of Radiance first. This is what I would consider to be this gaming generation’s Shining Force 3… your save data transfers over, including who lived and who died when you beat the game. From my understanding, the total count of playable characters is 72, and there’s supposed to be over 40 chapters. I’m very excited.

I actually have nothing on my list of games to buy. WoW is all I need right now.

I can’t wait for Silent Hill 5 but that’s out next year I believe.
