Maybe now the empire would have some chance against the dragon.
A game with two paths like SW:KOTOR would be good. Playing as a dragoon or a empire commander would bring the two worldviews perfectly to the players.
Yeah, the good and evil paths through the game could involve siding against the Empire, or siding with it, respectively. The evil route would give players a great excuse to hunt down and kill Orta, assuming she hasn’t succumbed to the dark side herself. >:)
When Sega releases trailers of the game, I want to see Imperial ships blocking out the sun and firing red beam lasers into buildings.

With the Imperial March playing in the background, and the characters duel with laserblades.
i think it should be panzer dragoon: (name of the new pup)
it’ll just be the story of orta’s pup (she won’t be the rider though, she’ll have gone off to do something like learn more about the ruins and her abilities). the pup would be left in the care of mobo’s clan and be raised to glideling form.
then something crazy will happen in the world, like something reviving the guardians and relocating them to one place. the new pup’s instincts/programming will kick in and it will somehow get a rider (the story is supposed to more be about the pup, but a rider with a story of their own would have to be brought in). then it turns out this gang of drones is trying to restart the towers and rebuild the ancient age. there’ll be some levels where you are going through freshly built ancient cities (it’ll look like the fallen ground from orta, except everything will be all new and shiny).
several drone bosses throughout the game, plenty of old guardians being brought back (thinks about the golia rendered with xbox/xbox2 hardware… dies), with maybe a trip through the sestren… but more importantly; the pup will grow through all of lagi’s forms in zwei plus some new ones! yay the return of skydart! oh and the empire gets annihilated… yet again
“Panzer Dragoon Saga II” wouldn’t actually be a bad idea… all those people who’ve heard of PDS1 but never played it will buy it to find out what all the fuss was about. Or they’ll think they need to know PDS1’s story and not bother at all <<
