Tell Me Why

A trailer for a new episodic game from Don’t Nod, creators of Life is Strange. Xbox One/Windows exclusive. The plot description reminds me a bit of Beyond: Two Souls.

This game is seperate from another project they’re working on called Twin Mirror, also apparently coming in 2020.

The Life is Strange games are really great, so this might tempt me to get some kind of Xbox (or PC) to play it, although maybe not straight away.

The story seems interesting.

Tell Me Why is free for the month of June (on both Steam and Xbox).

I still haven’t played this, but I expect good things based on Don’t Nod’s previous work on Life is Strange.

I claimed the free version of Tell Me why a while back but only recently got around to playing it. It’s basically another Life is Strange game using a different IP. To be honest, I found the story a bit boring. The subjective interpretation of some scenes based on unreliable memories and their corresponding player choices are interesting though, and this feels like a reasonably unique exploration, so it’s worth playing for this. It’s only three episodes and can be completed in a single day.
