Sonic Rush

Anybody played this ??? This looks the best Sonic game since Sonic CD

I really thinking of getting a DS just for the this and Mario Kart.
Also is it true that the Sonic Team Japan made this (not dipps) and that Hideki Naganuma did the music to this game

Thanks TA

Yep, Mr. Jet Set Radio makes his comeback by composing music for a Sonic game. Haven’t bought a Sonic related soundtrack in awhile…

As far as the game itself, it’s received nothing but positive press.

Oh man goodie goodie :).

Looks like I be getting a DS very soon then . Cheers

How sweet would a Sonic level with “Concept of Love” as the BGM be? XD

Official Sonic Rush website here, complete with some samples of the game’s soundtrack.

Oh the mans a genius . Thoese tunes kick ass.

At last a game to make SEGA fans proud , Now if they can do more of this for the home Console market , and Sonic Next Gen outing

It’s funny how Sega hasn’t advertised SONIC RUSH as heavily as SHADOW,Since SR is considered to be the far superior game. Oh yeah plus the fact that it’s actually Sonic that you play.

To be fair I don’t see many DS ads at all. While its great to see that logo back on out TV screen its a shame its for such a poor game.
It looks even worse than Heroes , and thats saying something

The only way to judge a game by it’s cover is if it has “E.A.” as the publisher.

The DS is a great system. Well worth it. Mario Kart is great, and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is a must, simply an amazing game…

Anyone remember the original plans for Sonic Rush? Where you simply ran your stylus back and forth to make Sonic run faster?

I haven’t heard much about Sonic Rush, but if you say it’s the next best thing since CD…

Well from what I understand it’s hchanged huge amounts since then. It’s much more like the old school 2d sonic games but with more 3d stuff for boss battles. Not seem much so far but from what I’cw heard i’d be half tempted to get a DS for it. (Plus Mario Kart I’d love to play that online.)

It’s a great little system really, i’ve seen the vids of Sonic Rush and it looks very cool.

And since the DS is backwards compatible with the GBA there is already a huge library of games for it.

Oh, mario kart is great fun. Havent had a chance to take it online yet though.

Yes, and Sony produced “God of War”. But these two exceptions do not make up for the fact that the majority of their titles are anathaema to me.

There can be a distinction made between what EA produces and what it publishes anyway. However, lately it seems to be less and less inclined to publish anything without an existing agenda to buy the developer.

The funny thing for me about Sony, the majority of reasons I even care about PS2 are 1st party games. Sky Odyssey, ICO and God of War are basically my top three experiences on that system. Most of the mainstream 3rd party exclusives I couldn’t care less about.
