jumping into the ring displays the credits yeah?
i got the impression thered be something coller than that. sigh all these years of wndering and its something thats quite dull indeed
So the reward for collecting them all in a minute… is the same for completing all the missions? That kinda sucks…
nah, there seems to be no reward at all, shame cos that was a hard challenge and deserving of some kind of unlockable coolness. Isnt interesting that today how we demand to be rewarded for successful play in the form of unlockables. You feel cheated when you dont get some form recognition for kicking arse, and i often find the promise of unlockables is often the only motivation for continuing with some games (Timesplitters 2 being the most recent case for me)

And if they don’t bring out a Panzer Dragoon one I shall kill my self…cos I STILL can’t find the first Panzer Dragoon!!!
It’s on Orta, silly.
I actually think Sonic Jam is a superior product to Sonic Mega Collection, owning both. Sonic Jam had more features with the games themselves (Time Attack, Special Stages, Spin Dash in Sonic 1 etc) whereas SMC was a “throw everything on an emulator”. Also, Sonic Jam’s movies were superior (Toot Toot Sonic Warrior instead of this crappy “Sonic Boom” song).
The PC version is the buggiest peice of ass I’ve ever played.
The only reason to own it is because it has seperate video files of the opening/endings/pencil test. It also has the American music which is supposed to be far inferior to the Japanese.
You got that right. The USA music is nice enought, but it’s not a patch on themsuic score found in the JP/Pal version of Sonic CD. The music score to them in 1 of the best in videogamming history.
Plus the Pal version also has a longer intro.
I tell you the reason why it’snot on the X-Box versions. It’s simply down to Yuji Naka or the STI team had nothing to do with Sonic CD.
Naoto Ohshima over saw this game. And it’s hand down the best Sonic 2D game there is.
Yeah Naoto Oshima directed CD in Japan while Naka was kicking it in USA making Sonic 3 (I think). Hence some features only appearing in CD.
The peel out is a speed up move that doesnt have Sonic curl up, but charge up speed standing, his legs going into a figure 8 shape. I reckoned that shoulda been retained it looked cool and wouldnt have hurt.
The time travel is interesting in that it’s a fine excuse for exploring the levels extensively, having to reverse time to destroy the robot machines (Im currently seeking out the robot machines having just completed the game).
Defeating the Robotnik machines was visually more pleasing as when striking his contraptions they would progressively fall apart as opposed to flashing white.
Sonic CD 'tis a fine game and the soundtrack owns all the MegaDirve Sonics obviously (mine being the PAL version), but I still prefer Sonic3+Knuckles personally.
I reckon Sonic CD still shoulda been included, Oshima was part of the original team and the designer, I think this should be recognised in the form of including it in the compilations.
