What’s so great about Sonic CD anyway? 
It’s supposed to be one of the better sonic games, and many of us never got to play it.
I nearly bought a megaCD just to get Sonic CD but instead i realised that I had enough money for a saturn and the rest is history…
You race against Metallix. Nuff said.
Heh, SonicCD was great in the day. If nothing else, the music was AMAZING, even a lot of today’s games don’t have as good of music (and I’m even talking about the American version, which most people think has far inferior music to the Japanese version, though I thought both were good).
Oh, and Shining Force PS2 is actually confirmed? That’s interesting…wonder what it is. Also I’m wondering what games will be included with 3d Sega Ages, it could be anything from Datona USA and Virtua Cop to Burning Rangers and Panzer Dragoon Saga. But I’m definatly most interested in some of the games in the Rumors section (guess which one I’m most hoping for ;))
Yeah, two new Shining games, including a new Shining Force, are destined for the Playstation 2. Some fans believe that confining these games to the Playstation 2 is a huge mistake…
God, it’s just such an underwhelming list. There’s nothing there even remotely exciting, save outrun 2 (which we pretty much knew would make an appearance anyway).
Of more interest is Sega’s big announcement. I can’t be arsed to speculate because it’s not going to be Shenmue 3 - so I’m not really sure I care.

Sonic CD did, indeed, rock. If you remember how the original Sonic games’ music were, they were very digital and pop-ish. Sonic CD’s music was very orchestral, had Sonic’s first and only kick butt anime opening, an incorperation of time travelling, and the first use of the character in a 3D world before the true 3D experiences of the next gen games.
Still no sign of Nights. sigh I hope Panzer Dragoon is still in there somewhere. Even if it’s two years down the road before it appears at a convention.
What is this game about?
On a side note : does anybody know when will the TGS expo take place this year??
