I thought it was agreed that it was in japanese? Or was that PDS…
I thought it was agreed that it was in japanese? Or was that PDS…
The spoken dialogue in PD1, PDZ and PDO is all in “Panzerese”, and the opening and ending sequences of PDS are in Panzerese as well; the rest of PDS is spoken in Japanese, though. There’s actually very little text (or indeed script) in PD1 and PDZ, and I suspect that comeone could get through them fine even if they couldn’t read any of it…
PDS was all in japanese, yes.Excpet for the intro and ending FMV sequences.
PDZ is all in Panzerense.

Atleast we have a 0.4% chance, I’ll hold on to that and hope that sega would eventually read this thread and think about it [/quote]
You do realise that’s about the odds of catching the matching Ace in your Royal Flush draw when the casino has 3 decks mixed together and your opponent has a wired pair of them?

yeah i hope they read this, and see me shouting
DO NOT REMAKE PANZER DRAGOON SAGA THANK YOU
I like thinking that I have a rare copy of an excellent game
Especially at the price I got it for
Anyway…probably just end up making the PDS name look bad…like many of you have said already.
I would tend to say that Panzer Dragoon Saga would be one of those things which just wouldn’t “happen” again.
In other words, in the effort to remake it, some of the original magic would be lost.
Anyway, it’s a fine game as it is; hunt high and low for it, if you must, until you find it! And hopefully for not too high a price…
I just don’t see a single chance at all that Sega will ever do anything to do with the Saturn again. Of course, I wish they would; but seriously, it’s a retro console by now. I intend to fully support it always, of course, but it’s a pretty tricky one to find stuff for.
Long live the Saturn!

Not for the Saturn it’s self…they’ll make more gamepacks jammed full of some random Saturn Arcade games I suspect.
They seem to like doing that…
Did n’t Sega rerelease SHINING FORCE 3 for the pc via download a while back for their japanese consumers? I can’t see why they can’t do the same again with PDS. Better yet I can’t see why they don’t change the SOA website and bring it to the standard of the japanese one where they have updates of new software, news of recent events and interviews with top dev talent as well several promo downloads. SOA is just some glorified kiddie interactive site.
They re-release Skies of Arcadia for the GameCube and Sonic Adventures for almost every platform known to man and yet they don’t re-release the game that continues to make the Saturn a legend.
Honestly, where is the logic in that?

Yeah, I’m with you. They should re-release NiGHTS.
Definitely, but without tampering with its magical formula!

Haha.Actually what made Saturn legend (as in ancient history) was not it’s good games.
Btw welcome Ques.
Yes, re-release not re-make.
Skies was done because it was much “newer” and required less reworking… and everyone was confident in the quality of the title.
Sonic Adventure? Because it sells like crazy. Sonic remains Sega’s best-selling brand. Sega would be crazy not to release them.
Actually, I think it would be best for all concerned if Sega turned Nights into a first person shooter. Sega could call it Nights Neo.
No they shouldn’t.
I feel these games should be left to rest, on the magical platform that is the Sega Saturn
Thankyou for the welcome, Gehn.
Games should be left to rest? I don’t think so, what about people like me who joined the trend too late?
As for PDS, I wish they would re-release it. After all, it easy enough to find a Saturn, and as for remaking, or remastering if the term can be used, I see no difficulties. The Remastered PD1 for the XBox with Orta.
Mind you though I’ve only seen screens of it and am I right in saying they put Azel instead of Kyle on Lagi?
They didn’t remaster PD1 for Orta, they just created a PC emulator to run the PC version of PD on the Xbox.

I don’t get what’s the problem in rereleasing a game. It’s not gonna “taint” is
