Questions

  1. The Great Fall…was that the end of the Ancient Age, or the end of the Empire?

  2. Is there a map of the Panzer world? With all locations of everything?

  3. Is it plausable that Panzer Dragoon is set on another planet?

1.Empire’s fall.

2.Check pd.net.I think there is a map section.Aside from that I don’t think you’ll fin anything better online.

3.Is it plausable that PD is not set on another planet?

  1. I quite like that Panzer World is Mars theory
  1. The Panzer Dragoon world has two moons.

Yes, I’ve read that theory. Although I don’t think it’s Mars, per se, I do believe it’s a different planet. The reasons I don’t believe it is Mars are: a) Plants and other fauna are prospering fine, though Martian soil is comprised mainly of metal, not very fertile.
b) Sestren was destroyed in Saga. Now, if the theory is true, and it is indeed a inhospitable environment made liveable by the towers, there should be no air or anything.

                                                                                           c) It does mention the fact that Mars gets cold at night and hot in the day. However, we are talking about the extreme of temperatures. I don't see anyone dying of frostbite or heat anywhere, which means the climate is somewhat stable.

I still think it’s a different planet, just not Mars.

I was drunk when I wrote it.

Ah. Well, that’s better than what I can do sober…

Obviously you need to be drunk, then.

Hey! You’re confusing the story, youre putting facts into the story :stuck_out_tongue:

The second moon is probably artificial. Who knows, it just might be the next death star! Joking aside, it’s probably the physical location of Sestren, or where the Ancients are sleeping.

I’m not sure if I agree with the likelihood of that, although I definitely wouldn’t rule out the possibility. Regardless of our theories about what the second moon is, the Panzer games (especially Orta) seem to suggest that the Sestren is a virtual place, rather than a real location. If this is the case, Sestren wouldn’t actually be anywhere, it would simply exist as data. An interesting question arises from this though: is there a central location, a “server” so to speak, where Sestren is actually stored. Or was it simply a network connected together by the Towers, but with no central location?

If there was indeed a central ruin that “hosted” Sestren, what would happen if it was destroyed, I wonder?

Sestren would get narky and contact his local MP?

Actually, I probably was when I stated the reasons I didn’t think it was Mars. :anjou_sigh: I fixed it up.

The mars’ moons are much smaller and can probably only be recognized as very bright stars from the surface.

Come now! We all know sestren is hosted on Geocities…

I agree. :anjou_happy:

That’s a bit like saying that the Matrix is hosted on a 56k modem.
