PDO: Receives Gamespot's 2003 Best Shooter Award

Does anyone here know whether or not the PD team are now part of Amusement Vision? As far as I know, Smilebit and AV exchanged members and Smilebit would concentrate on sport games, while AV would make cinematic, movie-like games (RPG’s fall into that category I think). So it would be logical if AV made a new PD game, but only if the team that did PD Orta are now part of it.

looks at Abadd

where is he when you need him?

Gamefaqs.

It figures.

Smilebit is only a sport team now. PDO, JSRF, … teams joined Amusement Vision. They are part of it.

Thanks for clearing that up, Nightwalker. I just noticed you had already posted that info earlier, sorry about that.

It’s nice to see that Amusement Vision noticed the awards that PD Orta got. I didn’t even know Gamespy had also given it an award. I wish I could read Japanese, maybe there’s some info about their future games in the recent articles on their website.

So we can now assume that any future PD games will not have anything to do will Smilebit, but AV?

It’s nice to see some optimism for a change!

If there is one person in these forums who is sure about a sequel it’s me.

Brilliant idea! Let’s pretend that Abadd doesn’t exist!

Ass-kisser.

Anyways, don’t forget that Abadd isn’t the SEGA manager. He doesn’t predict the future.Even if he did,he would probablu predict something bad and I aodn’t like that :stuck_out_tongue:

That isn’t what you said. All you said was that you were the only person that is sure of a sequel. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you “predict” a sequel, it means that you have absolute knowledge that it WILL be made. Although Abadd may or may not know this, he probably would have absolute knowledge of a sequel already, were one in development (since, you know, he DOES work for SEGA.) Plus, he’s cooler than you :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s right. PDO team is now part of AV. If new panzer will be made, AV will make/publish the game.

Die, we all shall, it seems.

Didn’t they teach you to repesct others feelings back in Hell?! :’(

Someone hasn’t been listening to what I’ve been saying all along…

Noone knows for sure whether there will be a Panzer sequel of some kind or not. This includes even SEGA staff. That’s the way it is.

I kow there is.Even if it involves blood…

…there will be a new pd game I assure you of that!

There’s always the hope of Sega eventually developing a sequel. As long as there’s still a chance, I bet we’re all willing to be patient.
