About
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei: Remake is a refreshed edition of the second entry in the legendary rail shooter series, taking you into a unique world where ancient ruins, imperial power, and mysterious creatures shape the fate of an entire continent.
Step into the role of Jean Jacque Lundi, a young rider who, together with his extraordinary companion—a dragon named Lagi—embarks on a dangerous journey filled with battles, discoveries, and the secrets of ancient civilizations.
The gameplay remains a classic on-rail shooter—fast-paced combat where you strike down enemies with both Lundi’s gun and Lagi’s devastating lasers. With the Berserk Attack at your disposal, even the toughest encounters may turn in your favor.
Key Features
- Series Prequel – The story takes place 20 years before the events of the first Panzer Dragoon game.
- Dragon Evolution – Lagi’s growth depends on your playstyle and combat performance.
- Dynamic Rail Shooter – Fast action, intense encounters, and epic boss battles.
- Branching Routes – Multiple paths on the levels increase replayability.
- Berserk Attack – Unleash devastating power to turn the tide of battle.
- Pandora’s Box – Unlock additional gameplay options, modifications and mission variants after completing the campaign.
- Remastered Music – Includes both the original soundtrack and a remastered version arranged by Saori Kobayashi.
- Enhanced Visuals – Modern graphics faithful to the original style.
- Two Control Schemes – Choose between classic and modern controls.

Time to down an Airship of the Ancients once again. Hope this means Saga is coming out eventually. Maybe even from Sega themselves.

Visually look’s ok for me just for now i hope that plays as good as the original and it would be great if they add also the Sega Saturn version as bonus
I think the gameplay will be fine. I watched the latest comparison video. I am somewhat concerned about the texture styling and quality, but I’m hoping this to just be beta quality.
Looks hideous and up to Megapixel usual inept standards

If the sales are good maybe Sega convinced to remake Saga in house and not by 3rd party or to continue the franchise

I’m reserving judgement until I get to play it. But I’m worried like the original panzer dragoon remake. That it won’t feel quite right to me.

Looks rang unfortunately and up to Megapixel usuals standards
Still, I didn’t expect anything less.
Hopefully SEGA will look to go back to the series after work on the new Jet Set Radio is complete

@Team_Andromeda I’m not too impressed by what I’ve seen of the remake footage either, unfortunately.

Your proposed alterations really capture the essence of the Panzer Dragoon Zwei look and feel @Lagi_Webmaster. Hopefully at least some of these suggestions can make it into the final game.

They are far from perfect, but I’ve heard the arguement “nobody really knows what Sega Saturn Panzer Dragoon series could look like in modern graphics”, and images like this would at least be a starting point to showing that more of their style and art direction could survive increased graphics fidelity

Yeah, its sad and the game looks far worse in motion too
