israel:

georgius were shelcoof is floating seems almost exatcly the place of the dead sea, where the sea is so salt that people can’t sink in it, they “drijf” (don’t know english word for it)

also the biggest desert place in the south of pd world is where the sinai desert is located in egypt/south israel. the mountains near exacvation site is

here is another map of israel where u can see where their are normal forests instead of desert and also mountains. it looks alot like panzer dragoon world:

It’s got a passing resemblance yeah, but the line defined by the 3 lakes stretches almost directly inland on the Panzer Dragoon map and nearly parallel to the coast on the mediterranean map. The relationship of the mountains isn’t very close either. But anything’s possible, if I was creating a fictional continent I might well look at a few real maps for inspiration at least.

oh it might very well be. after all, the “two stream land” is supposed to be the craddle of western civilisation.

I just hope this doesn’t turn out like Myst…

Anyways nice analogy…who knows…

Pretty graphics, dull gameplay?

Some of the culture is Middle Easster influenced, but I think it was just inspiration as the Panzer world has two moons.

You are going to hell for that!!It’s a puzzle game its suposed to make you think.

No, I meant like when Uru : Ages Beyond Myst came along and we learned that the Myst parallel universe isn’t really parallel but rather our reality. The game featured New Mexico even…As in the events of our real world happen in the Myst reality too.Oh and the original Myst is suposed to be around 1800 or something…

I just thought of something…I have to know, is that an official map? Or, like fan-made?

I was looking at the tracking of the Zwei and Saga paths, and I always thought that Lundi goes through the forest of zoah (the boss is a goolia, and you find goolia ‘parts’ in Saga). And of course, after the ruins stage, you’re in Uru. And then you go to Georgius.

But whatever, again, if it’s an official map, then thats the path.

There are loads of ruins and forests and Golias in the PD world. An yeah the map is official.

It’s a different forest, the only repeated location in each of the three Panzer games is Georgious. Orta on the other hand may very well have taken place around the same location as PD1.

Edit: And the maps are official, They come from the guidebooks of the games.

In each of the PD games?

You are assuming PD1’s final stage is Georgious but we relaly have no evidence do we?

Sorry, that’s not what I meant, I just worded it wrong. The only location repeated in any of the three Saturn games in Georgious. The final stage of PD1 is set in another location, as the map shows.

Wow this is really interesting! I could be a just a coincidence or they may have just picked it as a model to base things off. Great correlation regadless!
