Hi I was looking at the main Panzer Dragoon Wiki and noticed that there wasn’t a lot of information so I did some editing. Feel free to change it or get rid of it but I thought it should be there.

30,000 copies were released in us, not 6,000
edit: never mind I didn’t read far enough yet
good stuff
Those updates are certainly worthwhile. Just a few things spring to mind that could be improved:
The Heresy Program is actually an unofficial title made up by PD fans for the entity that entered Lagi’s body… it isn’t actually called that anywhere in the games. This should be clarified. Perhaps that section should talk about the dragon in general.
“In each game the ultimate goal is to destroy one of the Towers.” - this isn’t the case in PDO.
There are a few spoilers here and there. Usually a spoiler warning is used: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Spoiler_warning
I’ll probably leave those things for someone else to change. It’s good to see the PD Wiki being added to in any case.
i added what Futatsugi-san told me last time I met him.
actually panzerese doesn’t have a grammar, it’s just made up of cool sounding words, as old latin and greek are his hobbies. he had russian in school as well, so some russian is in there as well (the name zastava means “sentinel” in russian). but no german, the only german word is in the title of panzer dragoon zwei. some smilebit member said in an interview “orta” was also german, this is partly true as the derived wort “der Ort” (the common meaning is “the Place” btw) refers to the tip of a swort, but is probably derived from the latin “ortus” which simply means “place”. it’s as german as “cucumber” is english (it’s derived from the latin “cucurbita”)
his intention was to make up something like a “world language” so i think (I’ll ask him nexttime) that the panzer world is indeed earth in the far future.

Oh-so-casual name dropping make Kimimi one seriously jealous girl…
are you japanese as well? i thought Taor was the only one here.
I was gonna mention that but I think Wiki are a bit pissy about that kinda stuff. I haven’t played PDO or know abything about it but I will add that PDO isn’t about destroying a tower. I like your idea about just talking about the dragon so should I re-write it and add that there is a fan made theory that the dragon is being controlled by the heresy program?
Who are you asking?

i only wrote the panzer dragoon world, the heresy program and the towers sections
sorry I was asking kimimi, you posted while I was still writing.
his location says UK so i wasn’t sure who exactly you were asking
I’m tempted to make a Wiki for Panzer Dragoon Zwei with more detail rather than just a quick summary some guy wrote.
With all the info on TWOTA we should just delete all the wikis and put a link to TWOTA in their place
huh
I have started the Zwei Wiki I have to go now so there’s not much there yet but Solo is it ok if I use the box art featured on this site for the article?
But if that were the case, where would the second moon come from?
I think it would be best to keep it focused on the basic elements of the Panzer Dragoon world. The Ancient Age, the dragon, the monsters, the Empire, etc. Remember people who don?t have a deep knowledge of the Panzer Dragoon series will probably read this, so IMO it would be best to keep things simple. So, maybe just mention that one part of the dragon, a program within Sestren, entered the coolia’s body, and then go on and talk about the dragon’s mission from there.
Yeah, that should be fine. Good to see a wiki started on the second game.
Except TWotA’s content won’t be getting released under the GNU Free Documentation License anytime soon.
For some reason the notion of Panzer’s world being our own future interferes with my infatuation, so I’ll forever agree to disagree on that point until and unless I’m forced to make terms with the idea.
Since you’re so cool LC why don’t you just ask Futatsugi the whole truth behind PD and solve all the misteries? If you can’t then ask him why won’t he answer and try corner him into saying if there is going to be a PD sequel or not
Nope I’m English (which is why my translations are so rough).
Jimkemon - I’m a woman.
@Gehpnaet
because that would be rude and plain stupid. and how should futatsugi-san know? he’s working for microsoft now (which is common knowlegde, he’s the director of “phantom dust”) and the PD liscence is still with sega.
if you want to know about a sequel you should probably ask abadd instead
