I just bought the Art of Nausicaa and found this prototype artwork I’d like to show everyone. Remind you of something?

Not particularly, no. Apart from the fact she’s standing on that dragons head I see no other PD allegories.

I agree- I think Nausicaa had a influence on Panzer (manga story and visuals) but not those images.

Well, just the fact that she originally was going be a dragon rider, is fairly interesting, considering how many of the themes in the manga and movie already have a Panzer Dragoon feel.
