Starting May 1st and running until May 31st Panzer Dragoon Legacy is running a high score contest for Panzer Dragoon II Zwei
Let’s see who amongst us can rack up the most points in the best video game of 1996.
Emulator and real hardware submissions are accepted.
Rules:
- Screenshot or take a picture of your ending screen that displays your shot down ratios and total score after a completed game and submit them via the Discord or as a reply to this forum thread.
- No cheating. If you cheat Sestren will get you while you sleep.
- Have fun. This is a friendly competition.
As of now, there’s no prize other than bragging rights, but that might change.
As a friendly hint, there are a few high score guides floating around this forum that may give you a leg up on the competition.

That’s a fun idea. I wish I was up to my old skill level for entering. There was a time about 20 years ago where I could do a 100% shoot down level for the entire game everytime (and get the winged death ranking). But I’m a bit out of practice I haven’t gotten winged death for some time. I’ll try to get setup to do an entry. But I’m not sure if I will be able to; I don’t tend to have much free time these days

I used to be able to do this consistently on my playthroughs back in the day, but it’s been a while! Took me longer than expected.
I made another attempt with high score on mind instead of %, aaaaalmost reached 1 & 1/2 million.
