I remember someone from SEGA being asked what would it take for a SAGA II. And he Jokingly said 250,000 to 500,000 ORTA sales .

Zwei sold very well in Japan, and for a couple of weeks it even outsold Resident Evil in Japan which was no mean feat) . The 1st game sold well too

The interview I saw said that if PDO broke even then a follow up would be made. He also hinted that the follow up would be RPG based. Well I’m pretty sure the game broke even for Sega. All that remains is if the sequel is either another rail shooter or another SAGA type game if the game is being made at all.
