Wow. I really didn’t think it was that hard to understand. Let’s see if I can make it even easier:
Before all the changes, Smilebit was made up of several teams:
Sports, Panzer, Jet Set, etc.
Then, changes were made.
Smilebit’s biggest selling titles were its sports games, so Smilebit decided to focus solely on sports games. All those not related to sports games (meaning the Panzer, Jet Set, etc. teams) were sent to merge with Amusement Vision.
Does that make sense now?
I mean, in my previous posts, I said:
“…all the non-sports game members of Smilebit merged with Amusement Vision…”
“Smilebit ONLY does sports now. All that is left of Smilebit is the sports team. The rest of the people joined Amusement Vision.”
If someone could locate the correct files, then I suppose it would just be a matter of ripping the text from the game CD?[/quote]
Unfortunately, the text for the credits in PD1, Zwei and Saga is not stored as any kind of normal text in the game code. (As far as I’m aware.) It wouldn’t be hard to make credit lists for these games, of course, but I do think they’d have to be transcribed manually.
By the way, I have got the English-language credits for Saga lying around on my hard drive, if that’s any help to anyone. (The credits given in English in the game, that is.)
I was kidding Abadd. I knew about how they were reallocated before this thread.

I always hate when there are credits to a japanese game in a manual and it is the people who localized it, not the actual developers.
The ex-Team Andromeda members who were at Smilebit are now at AV, along with the JSR team, etc. The people who do Sega’s Japanese-oriented sports games (i.e.: Let’s Make a Sports Team series) stayed at Smilebit. So the upcoming AV Lineup could look like this…
Panzer Dragoon sequel
Super Monkey Ball 3 (Nagoshi-san hinted at this)
SpikeOut Extreme
maybe even an F-Zero GX sequel
So they’ve got a lot on their plate. Most likely they’ll get the other three out the door first. We waited 5 years between sequels before, we can wait a couple years now, I guess.
