I just hope it works on your Dreamcast. There was a problem with this game where it didn’t run on some older (or was it newer?) consoles.
Man I got this game for PS2 two days ago.All I can say is WOW.Definately one of my favourite games ever!I had played it on the DC once a long time ago and Ive been meaning to get it ever since.

This is what gaming should be all about.Too bad I have 5 exams this week…oh and too bad I don’t have a good soundsystem…I reckon it would be a lot better that way.
This game is art!It single handedly made me wanna get a PSP just so I could play Lumines and Every Extend Extra and that’s saying a lot since portable consoles aren’t really my thing…Tetsuya Mizuguchi is my new hero.
I just hope the EGM rumours abou a Rez 2 beeing in the works is true.I just hope it comes out on 360 or else Ill have to get a PS3 later on…

I’d say the price was too high, but you obviously thought it was reasonable or else you wouldn’t have bought it

it dont work!!! gah!! you think its the dreamcast and not the actual game?
EDIT: after some research… i found out its something to do with the laser of the DC no being able to manuver to read it properly. I read about trying starting the DC on its side or upside down

I have heard it is a really good game. I plan on getting it for DC also
so far it does seem really great, but i still dont really know exactly whats going on. the system is extremely similar to the first two panzer games, and the music is excellent! I can’t wait until semptember when i have university accomodation and big speakers… it will sound great
Absolutely brilliant game in all aspects.
I prefer the PS2 version simply because the the rumble in the dual shock pad feels more natural.
FYI: The PS2 version of Rez can be had for around $30 USD
Of course the DC verison is widely available for download…but nothing beats the real deal, eh?
Do yourself a favor and play this game in a dark room (no lights), in a comfortable chair, and with the sound at a good level through decent speakers - or better yet listen to the soundtrack with a good pair of headphones on.

This has been one of my holy grails for who knows how long. I thought they were going to make a re-release a while back, but that turned out to be false.
IIRC I was pretty sure there was a rerelease for the US PS2 version. Hence the low prices on the US version…
Sorry if I’m reviving a dead topic or whatever (I know some forums go insane with rage at times), but I thought it smarter to post in an existing Rez thread than to make a new one.
I just started Rez for the first time today, and it’s quite fresh! I have no idea what my overall opinion on it is yet, but naturally I’ll keep playing it. It’s very, very unique, I can say at least that much. 
yeah it really is a great new type of game to play… i havn’t played it as much as i like, but when i move into my university accomodation next year and i buy big speakers im gonna definately play it loudddddd =D
the music and flow of the game is great

I just recently bought Rez as well. It’s very unique and is a must have for fans of PD. I must say, level five completely blew me away! 
And what exactly is the Trancevibrator? I mean I know it’s some sort of rumble device, but where are you supposed to put it?
Ironically, I was thinking the exact same thing…
