Sadly yes I have known girls like that. They end up with horrible men that beat them. They try to leave but end up going back to them. Their excuse is that they love them and they cling on to hope that the man will one day change.
Girls like these have really low self esteem and they hardly had a male role model in their life. It kinda shows that children need both mother and father as parents eh? Nothing wrong with single parent relationships but I never did care for the deadbeat parents.
Personally, my father was never a part of my life. He spent his days in Germany and I would only get a letter once every couple of years. I had no brothers and sisters as well. So I was pretty much alone through out my childhood years.
Although I never bothered to ask these girls what their home life was like, it was never my bussiness to begin with anyways.

Anyway, I went on Freeserve chat the other day (havent been on there in years) went into 20somethings and every girl (and I mean every single one) was a single mother. I mean, i would understand mothers being on there, not being able to get out much due to the kid…but they were all single? What’s up with society.

Some people disagree, but I agree with you 100%. Without both Parents present a child can grow up feeling abandoned. Many parents don’t deserve to have children, for many different reasons. Kids today will grow up to find out their father was a random sperm donor. That’s a great way to make a child feel unloved.

There are many girls I know that are already parents of 1-2 children. Some were personal freinds and they got pregnant within the last two years of high school. Most of my friends at work are parents themselves, most of which are single and are currently in custody battles for their children.
Of course, this applies to men as well. I have met many boys my age that have already fathered 1-2 children and they too tell me that is rough for them. They have to pay for child support, fight for visitation rights and work full time to pay it off, sacraficing school for a few years just to do it.
It goes both ways in a sense. Both parents should take the responsibility for the child, of course, this does not always happen.
I hate it when parents regard their children as parasites or as mistakes. Parents should not think like that. Ah well.
i was a mistake…a BIG mistake 
Well I’m not saying that there aren’t parents who think like that wrong, there’s others that you might think fit in that category but they really don’t.
If they sometimes say they are too young to be parents and wish they wouldn’t have made that mistake and other things like that, it doesn’t mean they don’t love their kids, but you can’t blame them for wishing they could have lived their youth happily without all the complications having a baby brings. (for example having to sacrifice school years and work their ass off with no time to relax and just be happy and enjoy being in love with their partner in life in order to have money to take care of them like Atolm said a lot of them have to do)
Now confirmed ladies and gents. I have absolutely no contact with any girls from high school whatsoever.
