Just a simple list (though if anyone knows if it’s possible to buy/download decent versions of them (ie. with sound etc) anywhere besides eBay, suggestions would be cool. Or comments if you played 'em and have something interesting to say about them).
For me:
Earth 2150
Black & White
Thief 1-3
Sonic CD
Sub Terrania
Urban Strike
Red Zone
Deus Ex
Burning Rangers
Enemy Zero
Snatcher
Fallout 1
Shenmue 2
Virtua Fighter: Evolution
Grim Fandango
Powermonger
Freespace 2
Spy vs Spy
Ultima VIII
Fade to Black
XCOM Apocalypse
Jagged Alliance 2
Daytona USA 2
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Herzog Zwei
Dynamite Headdy
Eternal Champions CD
Rez
Battlezone II
That game on the Mega CD that used the same engine as Thunderhawk.
I’m sure there are many others, but that’s it off the top of my head
From the games you mentioned though, I didn’t think Snatcher was anything special, and Fade to Black was pretty bad. I suggest playing Out of this World and Heart of an Alien to get a good sci-fi game from the same company. All three can be downloaded at www.the-underdogs.org
The only games I really want to play right now are Shining Force 3 and, well actually thats it. I need a good SRPG right now. I don’t have my Gamecube anymore so Fire Emblem is out of the question.
Enemy Zero is alright, the “combat” is an interesting concept but it doesn’t go much beyond that. The game is so horrifically linear that downloading a movie of somebody else playing it wouldn’t have too great an impact on the gameplay…
Games I want to play but haven’t…there’s tons! Hmm…
Radiant Silvergun
Langrisser Millenium
Sakura Taisen 5 (still trying to get the box set without emptying my bank account!)
All the Sega Ages games I haven’t yet bought (Phantasy Star 2, Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, etc - I have about half the current collection)
Seiken Densetsu 3 (I want to play it properly through a Snes, and it’s a good/poor excuse to buy the gorgeous guidebook at the same time too! ^^~)
Just a quick note, but you can download Snatcher from Home of the Underdogs as well. I’ve never got around to playing all the way through it myself though, so I couldn’t comment on how overrated (or not overrated) it might be…
Well, recently i’ve been able been able to take Phantasy Star 4, Chrono Trigger, Gunstar Heros, Flashback and Lunar (well, ok, the GBA remake Lunar Legend) off my to-play list.
But, off the top of my head, I still want to play:
Radiant Silvergun
Ikaruga
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram
Rez
The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
Grandia
Virtual On for the DC, thats one of the only games I have ever picked up the day it was released (excluding console launches). Definitely worth it. Too bad the twin sticks never came over to the U.S. since I never got around to ordering some online through Lik-Sang or other sites.
One other game I have always wanted to play but I know I never will is the El Dorado Gate series of Dreamcast. It was an episodic RPG made by Capcom. It always looked interesting to me.
I’ve always wanted to try Burning Rangers for the Saturn. Never seen a copy around where I live though and these days every copy I see on ebay is rather expensive. Still I’m tenpted to go for it, I’ve heard many good things about it. I’d also would like to play Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram but I don’t even have a dreamcast anymore so I can’t imagine that will happen anytime soon.
Anyway. Sonic CD was one. I hope to pick up the PC version someday, but I’ve no idea how well it’ll run. Skies of Arcadia is another. That’s about it though.

But that was the best part for me. It felt like I was talking part in Aliens.
I love Keni Eno work , I so wish he came back tothe games Industry. D2 is one of the best game I’ve ever played
Shenmue (the original)
Blood Omen : Legacy of Kain
Final Fantasy VII
Eternal Darkness
Hundred Swords
NIGHTS Xmas
Resident Evil 4
Ico
Virtua Fighter 4
Phantom Dust
Myst V End of Ages (I still haven’t bought it but I will in the next week or so since I’m getting an Apple 15’’ Powerbook and that’s the first thing I want to do in it :D)
Oh, yeah, FFVII! I got a friend to lend me that a couple of weeks ago… it’s in my room somewhere, but i’ve not played it yet. I should get around to it at some point, I’d like to see what all the fuss is about.
Oh, and Gehn, I thought that Phantom Dust was going to get a PAL release around christmas… hold on. googles it
you know it works quite well via an emulator like Gens so you could get away with using the Sega CD/Mega Cd version on a computer via that if in your areas it’s easier to get that version.
