Free software

I think you needed the words open source in the thread title, free is usually used as in, free beer. Not all the software mentioned is open source either, at least I don’t believe winamp, ccleaner, and winrar are for example.

Then again it really doesn’t matter to most people as most people won’t ever download or modify the source code so maybe the title and content is good as is :slight_smile:

Yeah… when I made the first post, I was referring to free (as in freedom) software, but as you say, most people don’t care so long as it works and is supported, so I didn’t worry about it after then.
