About Battlezone 2, I really can’t remember what the reviews said. This was back when it first came out, and I haven’t really heard anything about it since. Sorry.
I think he means Red Alert 2. XD (Or perhaps RA2’s expansion pack: Yuri’s Revenge)

I got Burning Rangers, adore that game, bloody quality.

I (finally) got around to picking it up a couple of months ago, though I haven’t really played it all that much yet; I’ve gone through it with both characters, but that’s about all so far. Definitely a breath of fresh air, gameplay-wise.
I owned BR myself but I lent it to someone and i never saw it agehn. 
Thing is I lost all contact with the guy.l

Not me, unfortunately. When it came out, it was a choice between it and PDS. Never really got around to trying to get it after.

I had found nearly everyone on the “rescue list” (I think I had one or two people to find in the second level) before my saturns battery died on me.

That is what it pays off to have an external memory card. =D That thing holds a gigaton of savegames anyway.
SegaXtreme has the Burning Rangers soundtrack available for download… I really didn’t like the music myself, but I thought you might like to know.

Burning Rangers is one of the few Saturn discs thats actually protected!
You can’t put it in a stereo without it shouting at you “this is a saturn disc, stop messing with it”
And Segaxtreme…same place I went.
I used to have one, but it wasn’t an official card. Whenever I tried to use it, it seemed to have a one-in-three chance of causing my saturn to crash within the first five minutes of play, so I pretty much only used it for Shining Force 3 saves (which took a huge amount of memory for each saved game). It gradually got worse, though, and it started to crash my saturn every time, before it even got pasted the “Sega Saturn” logo, so I had to bin it.
