I hear a Silent Hill movie is in the making, and the director of Brotherhood of the Wolf(a very good movie) is taking on the task.

Oooooooooh! Being a fan of Fatal Frame, especially the sequel, THAT should be worth watching.
sighs Another day, another game made into a movie and it will suck. It WILL suck.
The creators of the Silent Hill series are closely involved in the film’s production, apparently.
Who cares anyway when Silent Hill 4 is looming on the horizon?
I have yet to play any of the Silent hill games, but I do know that Brotherhood of the Wolf was a good movie.
We shall see.

Indeed.
Yes, but those sucky little movies do make you laugh because they’re so sucky. That’s why I watch them. It is hilarious. (See “Mortal Kombat” and “Mortal Kombat Annihilation” for details…)
As for a Silent Hill Movie and Fatal Frame movie… Hmm…
If Resident Evil is any idication, keep it far away from me. Far, * far* away from me…
If the Silent Hill movie is like the comics, it will suck.
But I hope not, I’m a really big SH fan.
Portraying game characters in flesh and bone deprives them from their charisma (or lack of it) in videogames.
I wonder what Studio Dreamworks SKG will produce for the Fatal Frame movie, will it be Japanese cast and Japanese culture (as in the games) or will it be completely Westernised? Either way I’d still watch it cos I get to see unlimited films for ?12.99/$20.10 a month.
I saw Punisher and Cellular on Sunday. Not too bad either of them, but then again, the price I paid to see them comes into into it. Actually, Punisher impressed me somewhat, I actually enjoyed it.
