I have. . . .absolutely NO idea what you’re talking about. :anjou_embarassed:
But I have seen a few episodes of the new series, and it looked positively smashing.

LOL, yeah you should get into it. I’ts a fun and clever romp through time and space. My favorite Sci-fi series!
For the life of me I cannot see the Daleks as menacing at all.
I have shamefully seen NONE of the new series but I am fond of the old one, mostly though DVDs.
I really want to make my own Tom Baker scarf. It is so awesome.
Yeah, I hear ya! Tom Baker is my favorite of the old Doctors.
Man. can’t wait til next Saturday, when the last episode of season 4 will air. Episode 12 was awesome and the cliff hanger was jaw dropping! Damn I’m filled with anticipation, if anyone knows what I’m talking about LOL.

Tell me about it, I’m totally distracted waiting to see what happens. At the same time though I’m going to be sad to see it as that’s the season over and no more Dr Who for a while
It’s a shame to have to wait so long for the next series (2010 ), but Steven Moffat is a wonderful storyteller and “The Library” and “The Forest of the Dead”, were my favorite episodes. Series 5 is going to be amazing since he is taking over as head writer(bye Russell T. Davies!)! At least we get the Christmas special and a few Doctor Who movies staring David Tennant, to look forward to; which brings me to episode 12’s cliffhanger…

The Doctor is actually going to regenerate, but will he stay David Tennant? I think so, and it would be a complete surprise to see otherwise. There are some theories out there as to how his regeneration will get interrupted, thus keeping him Doctor 10.
When the Doctor got shot by the Dalek during his reunion with Rose, the death beam passed through only the left side of his body: hitting one of his two hearts. Since one heart is theorized to still be intact, it could possibly interrupt the regeneration and only heal his torso, leaving his head intact. Sound weird?
Another theory involves the Doctor’s severed hand (His hand was cut off in the very first few hours of his regeneration in series 2). The Doctor keeps his hand near the Tardis as a backup generator(his hand contains an incredible amount of energy). Now if you remember, the Master used his hand in conjunction with the Tardis to regenerate himself. So this most likely will alter the regeneration process in some manner. People have said that his hand is going to grow a clone doctor! This clone will be human, and the Doctor will stay the same completely healed. So we might see two Doctors running around? One in his usual stripe suit and the clone in the blue suit!
So what are your thoughts?
I’m new here, and of all things to see, I didn’t expect this one. Doctor Who is my absolute most favorite tv show.
Mine too!! Can’t wait for the easter special, the Doctor’s on a bus and hes headed towards danger!
Aside from Doctor Who, I’ve been watching LEXX!! And it’s actually quite good!
What’s Lexx?
This is one of the most creative and may I say one of the most deranged (in a good way) shows I’ve seen since Farscape (another great Sci-fi show)!
It’s way too much to explain, here is the wiki:

I loved Doctor 9: Christopher Elleston. He felt so real, and showed such energy and emotion (so sad he only stayed for series 1).[/quote]
Gotta say, I personally felt Christopher Elleston sucked. I mean, he did an alright job and he had a lot of pressure on his shoulders, but if you compare him to David Tenant…he’s basically a -natural- doctor. Elleston I had to get used to being the doctor.
It’s weird cos you saw him having a lot of emotion, I saw he had very little what really annoyed me was that he left the program because he said he didn’t want to get typecast. Well that came back and punched him in the head, haven’t really heard of him since, he threw away possibly the best job he’s ever gonna have.
Pretty much to sum up, I felt he made a very average Doctor, especially when compared to Tenant who really puts his whole heart into it.
But, difference of opinion.
I haven’t caught any new episodes, spied in on one while I was semi-busy once. Really like Doctor Who though, one of the few programs I’ll sit down and watch these days when I get a chance.
Well, after all this time I like them both David just took time to grow into his role. It will be so sad to have to watch him regenerate!
Yeah, he really does suit the role. Wonder who will be next? Following Tenant seems like a daunting task.
Well that’s already been decided. The 11th Doctor will be played by Matt Smith! The show will return in 2010 after David’s last special.
Are they going to explain how the Doctor got past the limit of 10 ressurections or are they just going to say “that was 35 years ago, let’s pretend we never said that”?
The Doctor actually has 13 regenerations as stated on the official BBC site,
