I’m curious, was there a demo disk ( disk 1?) released for pds for the US release? I continually see the PAL/Europe demo disk one on ebay, but I don’t recall ever seeing a US demo disk.

I don’t believe so. It was Richard Leadbetter’s (of the UK Sega Saturn magazine) idea to create the PAL demo disc. but I don’t think they were collaborating too heavily with the US.
