Coolia pups

I don’t see how any of what I said goes agehnst that statement.

And about the riders : yes I agree that Kyle was just there. The thing is he’s destiny was always meant to be there at that exact timeframe…

I’m not suggesting that it was completely added in or simply wrong by the way, only that the way some of it was phrased may be misleading. A lot of dialogue from the early games has been “clarified” in the later games with a slightly different meaning, and it seems that PD1 and PD2 both had relatively rough-and-ready translations.

As I said earlier, perhaps the Heresy Program simply couldn’t travel (or navigate) very far without a body?

I don’t think Elpis enforced a law to kill mutant coolias in particular, but a law that encompassed killing all mutants.

“Destroy the mutants, it is the village’s code”. With so many mutants on the loose in the world I’m not surprised Elpis adopted such a law.

Technically a Coolia is a mutated monster to begin with, though; but of course the villagers may not have looked at it that way.

As I said before I’m pretty sure they only had a specific code for mutant Khourieats.

The blue white light is the cause of the arrows of light, meaning it’s the cause of something very VERY destructive. The “it is an ominus light” thing might have come from people researching Ancient logs but NOT fully comprehending them reaching the conclusion that the blue white light will bring “destruction” therefor giving birth to that code of the village therefor perhaps NO other mutant coolia except Lagi was EVER allowed to live and that the ominus light bit is just supersition as opposed to something they have experienced (well until PDZ that is, heh)
Much like the PD Bibles…

Ive had a look through the PDZ dialog and it seems that Lundi’s village has let a mutant live before, withing Lundi’s lifetime.

Lundi seems to be talking from his own experience but even if he isnt it means that he knows someone who has left a mutant Coolia grow. This might mean that the mutant Coolia do not have the ability to shoot arrows of light, even with a fully grown bioluminary oscillator. If they could, i doubt they would be described as harmless.

Why do I think the mutant Coolia who had lived emitted the blue light? The exact quote regarding the light is :

Lundi is referring to a generic mutant Khourieat here, implying that all(or at least most) of the mutant Coolias emit the light.

I think the one at the end of Orta is the new dragon…maybe?

This is where the translation issue comes in though, because the rough nature of the PD2 script means that the words “the mutant Khourieat” could simply have been “this mutant Khourieat” in the original script, or something else entirely. Lundi’s diaries in PDS don’t make this clear statement for example, although admittedly they don’t confirm otherwise.

On the other hand though, Sestren’s memory orbs in PDS did seem to imply that the Heresy Program was the cause for those specific mutants’ existence, regardless of any dialogue or translations. It’s hard to come to conclusions in cases like this…

Hopefully; well, hopefully we’re going to get to see it become a new dragon in a new game…

yes it is looking like that…

with the first three statements i was showing that the dragon pups in saga look the same as the coolia pup zwei. setting up for the ending theory that maybe coolia were the mutant descendents of the dragons…

then i was pointing out that the dragon pup in orta looked substantially different but still similar to the rest. it could be explained with the theory that is soon to be posted… but i wanted to see if anyone else had ideas for why there was that difference.
