On topic of Richard Jacques, is there anywhere to download the boss theme in headhunter that plays on the raining rooftop when you fight that guy that eventually joins your side? I don’t remember the finer parts of Headhunter too well, though it was a quite nice game.
On topic, Alexander Brandon is one of my favourite music composers, though his style seems a bit more sci-fi than panzer requires.
Unfortunately, there was no soundtrack released for Headhunter, so it’s REALLY HARD to find tracks of music from the game.[/quote]

What’s up with you guys anyway? All of you KNOW that Panzer Dragoon Saga had the best soundtrack of all time - and the only ones who are truly qualified to compose for the next Panzer Dragoon RPG are Saori Kobayashi and Mariko Nanba.
Granted, Panzer Dragoon Ein and Panzer Dragoon Zwei had excellent soundtracks and composers - but they pale in comparison to the sheer brilliance of Panzer Dragoon Saga. There’s no contest.
I disagree, simply for the fact that it’s nothing more than orchestrated music - it doesn’t have it’s own unique sound like Panzer Dragoon Saga does. The music in Panzer Dragoon Saga sounds ‘organic’ - which is perfect, considering the bioengineered environment created by the Ancients.
‘Theme of the Red Ruins’ is a PERFECT example of what all Panzer Dragoon games should sound like.

I’m 100% with Gehn on this one. The first PD soundtrack kicks insurmountable amounts of ass. Its always been my favorite of the three.
I dind’t say I prefer the PD1 over the PDS (altho I think it’s a lot more regular - the quality of most of PD1’s song is always high).
The PDS one is a bit flawed sometimes cause it repeats the Azel Theme too mcuh sometimes.I still think it’s the best OST I’ve ever seen in a videogame (along ith PD1’s,Soul Reaver 2’s and Soul Reaver 1’s).
The PD1 reflects much fo the PD essence.Heck it’s one of it’s creators.
starts lisetning to The Imperial District Goes Up In Flames yet agehn

I am a fan of the Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain series…however, this music, or it’s style, would not fit in a Panzer Dragoon game at all. It’s like comparing apples and oranges…it wouldn’t work.
Generally, all of Sega’s composers are at Wavemaster. Of course, they occasionally commission stuff (i.e.: Grand Royal Records in JSRF, all of Yuzo Koshiro’s work in Streets of Rage and Shenmue).
nothing more? Image the music from PDS played by an orchestra, especially atolm dragon (with taiko drums and a bamboo flute) or pure blood seed would so absolutely roxxor your boxxors down to your soxxors…
