Yes! This caught my eye too. In, ironically, a sea, of uninspiring and unimaginative games on Microsoft’s stream today, this was the sole stand out.
Looks like they stealth-announced a release date for this, December 8th.

Looks like I can probably run this on my PC rather than wait for XSX, but, it wouldn’t have ray tracing…
Finally got around to playing this (XSX) after it went on sale. Really enjoyed it, not very long but it tells an intriguing story and always made me want to find out more about what was going on. Couple of headbanging puzzles but that’s kinda the point I suppose.
Call of the Sea is free on the Epic Store at the moment. Could be time to give it a try. It sounds like my kind of game based on your description @UrbanReflex.
