I just noticed that apparently (first Cradle appearence on Orta scene) the Empire want Orta so the Dragonmares within the Cradle are complete yet Abadd wants her to creae drones…
The thing is that in Episode 4 the Empire wants to kill her…
Thoughts?!
What made them change their minds?
The Empire wanted Orta to hand her over to Abadd so he would finish the Dragonmares.

They tried to capture her but learnt what a mistake that was from years gone by. Sudbuing the dragon of destruction is not easy. Easier just to kill it and her I guess.
Well but if their first objective was to get her why kill her now just cause it’s easier…

There isn’t any question that Abadd wanted Orta alive. Why else save her from the dragonmares and take her to that ruin? Think about it laydeez Perhaps what Abadd was trying to do could only be accomplished in Sestren.

If Abadd could use Orta to create drones, then he could as well use Azel…but he never even mentions her…but if he knows of Orta he must have known of Azel…I can only assume Azel is dead by the time Orta’s story takes place…right?

Maybe he is the one that killed Azel…perhaps while trying to use her for the same purpose he wants Orta…and then hacked into her memories and found out about Orta…so he wants to try again with her…
That’s a possibility…
The real question is : did Azel do it in Sestren?
Did Azel do what in Sestren? Create Orta? No, that was done in the ruin we see in the game, as Abadd says. I doubt that Abadd could’ve used Azel as she couldn’t reproduce, but he may have killed her (I’d hope shes still alive, and we meet her in the next game, it’d rule).
I’ve just had a look back at some PDO cutscenes, and Abadd says that he must find another way to ressucitate his ancient masters. Is this why he goes after Orta?
