hmmm… He might’ve wanted to use her womb as a plan for artificial wombs? Who knows.

We may each need a biology degree before continuing this discussion.
No Team Andromeda or Smilebit member did …
Its kinda simple biology
As was mentioned before, perhaps Abadd wanted Orta purely to study, so he could “reverse-engineer” whatever process Azel used to create Orta.
Alternatively, perhaps he already knew the process of creating more drones, and wanted to use Orta’s genes to create off-spring in the same way Azel used Edge’s genes - if Edge did die, then he would no longer exist inside Sestren, and so Abadd would need another human to enter Sestren, which turned out to be Orta. Alternatively, maybe he chose Orta specifically because she is half-drone, and he wanted to keep his off-spring as pure-drone as possible…
Nice theory Troopa
Btw welcome to the forum

Notice how Azel seems almost human whereas Abadd doesn’t even vaguely resemble a human being appearance wise. When I first saw him I thought his flesh had rotted all the way to the bone, literally. Drones always have a boney white colour scheme, however, as seen thus far. Abadd is humanoid but hardly human-like IMO. He’s almost robotic in fact.
Azel’s human nature lends more weight to a human compatibility theory. She was a higher end drone, more advanced than Abadd perhaps.
Not sure about that…
I think Abadd was more combat-oriented…
…but not less evolved…
…just less human.
Its all about whats on the inside, not the outside.
Exactly what I mean…
Ok I’ve managed to get the translation of the text of the image i posted (sexualact) :
“Lighting equipment: [Sex and Love - Noble Behavior/act/deed]
This lighting equipment was featured in this book. By using specific ways, the book states that the effect of sexual arousal can be derived.”
The guy who translated this also told me that probably it’s from a old(Edo Era) traditional book on sex and he seemed to know what he as talkin about.
But this just makes it’s starnger. If it was supost to be related to Orta’s birth then it has nothing to do with the sexual axt itself…
…yet…
Thoughts on this?
Sounds like it was something Azel could’ve used to enable her to be fertile?
If only Lagi was here…
…he could tell us where exactly did this come from…
…but I think he mentioned a guide…
Orta was made rather than born. We just don’t know how, and more importantly, why. Maybe it had something to do with Chris Lucich’s translation of Panzer Dragoon Saga whereby Azel loved Edge. So much so, that she mothered his child.
Do you guys think Orta will have her own kids?
Hopefully we will never know of her in a PD game…
And also : hopefully not…
If you took this discussion to a board full of Japanese Shining Force fans Orta wouldn’t have a possible future until one was written for her (i.e. until the next game was released which happened to include her).
I hate that type of reasoning.
and once the future was written for the character, they’d change it for the next game, and the game after that…
I like what if scenarios and discussing what could happen next. The future of the Panzer games could go in any direction at the moment.
I get the impression Orta is a test tube baby, yet her creation is still questionable.
Well she was “made” by Azel in a lab-way…
Of that I’m sure…
I start to think that that text has nothing to do with the image itself…
The image can be the incubator and the tex is just somesort of quote to show the “absurd” of all that process…
That isn’t game material so…
Lagi will need to shed some light on the text and surrounding context.
