A friend of mine who normally plays pirate games doesn’t like RPGs that much and he offered me the two cds.So I have a pirate copy of PSO (which btw I don’t like that much).
I’m assuming that you only played the offline game then? The online game is where the real fun begins (IMO). By itself, Phantasy Star Online is really just a generic hack and slash, although the gameplay itself is more fun than a lot of Diablo style games.
Pity, I would have recommended Skies of Arcadia.
(Think about it)
I dind’t like the game aesthetics that much. It’s looked very corny.Still I ended up playing some quests but I don’t liek dungeon crawling that much.
A game that can’t grab me with it’s offline mechanics right form the start is bound to dissappoint me online too.

I got it Arcie no need to explain.Look at the time of my previous post.
Good point, personally Tekken 5 is the most the machine will squeeze out. But the game itself is alright, check out some videos of the recent UK tournament: http://www.geocities.com/giga_d/html/game_t5.html
I still prefer DOA2Ultimate though.
Those videos are pretty cool, I could never juggle anyone in Tekken. Soul Calibut was always my game of choice. But if you look at the machine version of Tekken 5 and the PS2 port you could really notice where they made cuts to improve the performance, most considerably in the models of the characters.
Really I always thought the port was arcade perfect. Mind you I don’t own a PS2 so I wouldn’t know anyway.
