Twilight Princess

I thought Twilight Princess was crap – and the fact that it sold over a million copies in the US, alone, makes me want to puke because that means they are going to keep using the same retarded game engine over and over again.

I have nothing good to say about the game because there is nothing good to say about it – there’s no voice acting, the game is clunky on both the Wii and the Cube, fighting monsters and finding treasure is a chore and is not fun, and the music and story suck.

The Zelda franchise needs to break away from the current game engine they’ve been recycling ever since Zelda 64, and perhaps create a sidestory game using a game engine like Castlevania SOTN or something - a game which will keep your interest all the way through. Zelda II for the NES was a step in the right direction, even though the game sucked horribly (which is probably why they haven’t tried being a little more innovative with Zelda in particular)
That sounded like you’re jealous of it because games like FF, Zelda, Castlevania, Halo, WoW, Mario, etc are more popular than the PD Series. In fact you always rant about how very good games are crap and claiming that PDS is the perfect and the best (Which is not really true now)

You know, you can’t always say PDS is perfect everyday and everyone whos getting sick of that comment. The best thing is, talk about something else besides PDS and that rape-adult game. And since you call me a retard in the past for mentioning FF, the fans themselves know more about it than you do and they don’t talk how crappy good games are. Perhaps I’ve seem other forums besides FF who do that way.
What the fuck are you talking about, you braindead, little runt? WHERE, in my statement, did I say anything about PDS?! For crying out loud, your incredibly, low intelligence is absolutely dispicable. Knowing you, you probably didn’t even properly read my quote because your intelligence is so limited that it restricts you from completing a sentence. You should go back to the womb and ask for a few more (actually alot more) braincells, because, as it stands now, you’re going to be a knocked-up, crackwhore on welfare in a couple more years – that’s assuming, of course, that you aren’t one already.

If the rules became MORE strict, you be banned by now, retard.

I didn’t say PDS in this Zelda topic in this ignoring-the-rules-forum. I seen your replies about you saying about how perfect PDS is (Which is not) and how the most mentioned are crap. Which I’m sick of what you’re saying.

Human intelligence is way higher than a wild animal, but like a wild animal, human do have limits too so don’t think you’re the smartest of all. Also, I don’t get my intelligence from my mom’s womb. I got them by school and discipline.

It’s spelled despicable.

Even though I might slightly agree with you Kadamose about Twilight Princess (not that it’s absolute crap, but definitely reusing the same formula to a fault), what Light wing says is true. Every five posts or so you almost make it a point to remind everyone that every game in the past 10 years is crap, and PDS was perfection in every sense of the word.

You didn’t have to say it in your last post, but you’ve said it enough for it to be brought up.

Human intelligence is determined by genetics and the environment. School and discipline can’t make a stupid person smart; it can, however, make an intelligent person’s genius shine. Unfortunately, especially in regard to the US, the education system is completely broken and serves only to lower the standards even more and completely dumb down the masses. Do you honestly believe that ANY country would allow its populace, especially the majority, to be incredibly intelligent and ‘educated’? Of course not, because an intelligent, educated person is a threat to the system – especially a system that is designed around greed and corruption.

Also, when a man and a woman reproduce, only the woman’s genes get passed on to the offspring. Granted, the 23 chromosomes that the male passes on, does contribute to physical features, but the important material, such as mitochondrial DNA, can only be passed on by the female. Mitochondrial DNA is very important because it determines many factors, including: lifespan, intelligence, and genetic memory. With that said, we are all technically clones of our mothers – and that’s rather unfortunate, especially in your case. Therefore, going back to the womb to obtain something that even your own mother doesn’t possess was a statement I shouldn’t have made - because it’s an invalid one.

I may have said it elsewhere, but it serves no relevance to this thread - especially since I said nothing about PDS anywhere. Basically, the thread was hijacked to start an irrellevent argument; she obviously is still pissed off that I think that her precious Final Fantasy series is complete shit - either that, or she has a bad case of penis envy. I’m personally betting it’s both.

But since we are now on the topic of PDS, thanks to Ms. Moron herself, I’d like to point out that PDS wasn’t perfect in every sense of the word (it did have ‘minor’ flaws) but it does continue to serve as a benchmark in regard to how games should be made - unfortunately, no game today can even remotely compare to it, and I fear that will forever remain the case…it’s just like 80s music will never come back - the ‘golden age’ of music, art, and creativity has long since passed and won’t be returning anytime soon. You can thank excessive capitalism and greed for that one.

That’s pretty intelligent I guess, insulting people’s mothers over the internet… Not to mention your last paragraph basically justified much of what she said originally, heh. Thread lock anyone? Or maybe a nice clean up. Whichever, as there’s no real argument going on in order to let people resolve it on their own without intervening… Sigh…

Kadamose is entitled to his opinion about Twilight Princess, no matter how blunt he may come across as. There’s no need to bring his opinion of PDS or name calling and insults into this, however, so please lets turn this back into a discussion about Zelda if we can.

I had the opportunity to play on the Wii a few weeks ago - Zelda, Monkey Ball, and Wario Ware were some of the games that I tried, along with the excellent Wii Sports.

I can see where the appeal is with Zelda. At first it seemed a bit dull with all the fetch quests at the start, but once you get into it its a lot more fun. It’s still the same formula, but with the addition of the Wii Remote controls (which help set it apart from other Zelda games, if only a little bit). As Alex mentioned in another topic, the art style of this game is one of the places where it really shines. It feels like you’re inside a story, but it feels like less of a children’s story than Wind Waker. Neither styles are necessarily ‘better’ than each other, but since it’s been a while since Ocarina of Time came out, I think a change back to this darker style is welcome.

From the small amount that I’ve played of it so far it does feel like a Gamecube game, but a very polished one. Having not played a lot of Zelda in the past (I’ve really only played bits and pieces of the main games in the series - never one game all the way though), this is a game that I’ll probably buy if/when I get a Wii.

Light Wing has a real knack for upping the entertainment value in Kadamose’s posts! Everyone should know their level I guess…

It’s interesting the more of the same issue has been mentioned here, I do have to wonder how many people would end up disappointed in a PDS2 if it was exactly more of the same. I still need to play Twilight Princess, but in theory I have no problem with it following the Zelda formula, everything must have an ultimate formula, nothing springs into being from absolute nothing. Exception is all relative.

Success is a function of adapting experience - i.e. “formula” - to the moment. Such as the way Light Wing and Kadamose seem to have this kind of chemistry, their formulas adapt especially well to each other… for the purpose of my amusement at least.

Well, I just posted to say I finally finished this game after about 67 hours of pure gameplay. Nintendo sure packed a lot of content in this thing, especially considering it’s WAY TOO EASY and yet took this long to complete. I didn’t sidetrack too much with the mini games either, though I loved most of them as they were so polished and well developed (I think I’ll go do some more lure fishing actually, so much better than bobber). I did do a few side quests that I believe weren’t need for the main story too though.

I would have liked some challlenge but it was still a joy to play through and the bosses are just so cool and fun to beat, especially some of the later ones. When all is said and done you really can recall an epic journey against powerful enemies that you defeated in inventive, exciting, cool ways only few other game heroes (perhaps the Ico “sequel” dude? I didn’t play that so…) can match.

All in all more than worth any gamer’s money and attention. Everytime I thought it was going to start getting old if it doesn’t introduce something new to the mix, it introduced it. There were a couple parts that it could do without but nothing major or long lasting and I actually can’t remember any right now, just saying it to cover my bases in case someone goes all “that part was bad!” or anything similar :stuck_out_tongue:

The game’s just awesome from start to finish and given its scope I think that’s a massive achievement from Nintendo. I’ll post spoilers below.

*Spoiler: The mirror, once activated, was so panzerish! And the Twilight Palace too, a bit less! And in other areas some objects that shoot beams could have been Tower defense systems! And other stuff throughout the game. Nintendo should work with Sega to make some action adventure Panzer spin off. Sure the art style was different here but I think the Wii’s capabilities are just about enough to keep the old games’ style but make it look purdy if they get the same art design/direction :stuck_out_tongue:

I HIGHLY disagree – but that’s just my opinion, and as I said earlier, my opinion is the only one that truly matters. The Legend of Zelda franchise will forever remain pure rubbish, and this is due to the fact that there is NO STORYLINE, and the storyline that is present is a rehash of every Zelda that came before it: I mean, how many times do we have to kill Ganon? When are we going to ever learn the origins of the Triforce? Will we ever see the three goddesses? And last, but not least, when will the lame ass story ever make sense? Probably never - which is enough justification to permanently give the series the ‘SHIT’ label.

The fact that NONE of the Zelda games have a decent soundtrack is another reason to completely resent the series. It would be nice, for once, to actually play a Zelda soundtrack that doesn’t sound like it was made from a fifth grader…

Whatever, you stated your opinion about the game once before and my post was not attempting to devalue it or make you change your mind in any way. I simply posted my updated impressions on the game. Your opinion has not been updated in any way so why repeat it alongside off topic (if retarded) remarks about what does or doesn’t matter to… Whoever? If you really believe the crap you sprout then why the heck do you feel the need to defend or restate or whatever your position’s worth by arguing with things that apparently don’t even matter? I guess I’ve also said it earlier… Fucking attention seeker.

Because, Alexander, if you tell a big enough lie and keep repeating it, everyone will begin to believe it. And boy, did you tell a whopper! Stop lying, and I will have no need to defend my position - it’s that simple. The problem is, you’re not aware of your own beliefs because you don’t question them…and thus, that makes you, and everyone else around you, delusional. I serve simply as a reminder of the sanity that this world no longer knows…

Thanks for answering my question, I’ll keep that in mind alongside the attention seeking bit I figured out by myself. I’m sorry to tell you though, it won’t work in your case. Ever. By the way, once again you have felt the need to address an opinion (that’s right, not lie, you got it right the first time but now you blew it:) which according to you doesn’t even matter in any way, which in turn means people wouldn’t believe it, but even if they did, their opinions also wouldn’t matter. I love how you always contradict yourself with your beliefs opposing your actions, then try to cover it up with something even sillier (I’m waiting:). It makes me smile sometimes, though it’s already growing older than you claim Zelda is because it’s sadly had way more sequels by now :anjou_sigh:
I guess that does explain your repeats but I’m sorry, yours are too stupid to believe even if you tell them a billion times. By the way, once again you have felt the need to address an opinion (that’s right, not lie, you got it right the first time but now you blew it:) which according to you doesn’t matter, which in turn means people wouldn’t believe it, but even if they did, their opinions also wouldn’t matter. I love how you always contradict yourself with things you claim to believe and things you do, then try to cover it up with something even sillier (I’m waiting:)… It brings a smile to my face sometimes, though it’s growing older than you claim Zelda is because it’s already had way more repetitive sequels :anjou_sigh:
How is that a contradiction? Reaility is a mirror image of your belief systems. If you are rotten inside, the world outside will be rotten. However, if you change the reflection (in other words, change your perspective, as well as everyone else’s) then you will change reality. That is the law of the universe, and that will never change. So why do I bother repeating myself - even though you claim it’s pointless? It’s because it isn’t pointless - it’s all about changing YOUR perspective so that your opinion will matter. You’re either part of the solution or you’re a part of the problem; unfortunately, you’re the latter.

No, you got it wrong, it was you who first claimed my opinion is pointless when you said your opinion is the only one which really matters. Gosh, you even forget things you wrote only a few minutes earlier, lol… I didn’t even realise how right I was when I wrote that you “then try to cover it up with something even sillier” haha. I guess I can go to sleep in a good mood again. Thanks dude, you’ve served your true purpose for tonight!

Just ignore him.

He’s just a dumbass, and isn’t worth the effort to write the post.
