The armored

How about a drone working for the Empire?

That was my idea when I posted the pic…

It was clear to me that the figure was very similar to the Sky rider so no other possibilty occured to me at that moment…

But now that I think of it…

the guy that says the first PDZwei ā€œDenaā€ had a strange shape…

If only I had images…

If the Imperial bloodline is linked to the ancients themselves, then Imperial descendents many not be 100% human. Aha! A human Sky Rider may have been 1/2 or 1/3 part ancient, which would make the green energy he gives off in coils explicable!

Logic is a wonderful thing.

But alas, I must not run away with my imagination here.

The Sky Rider drone may have pretended to be human since drones sometimes seem indistinguishable from ordinary humans, and thereby sought employment in the Empire.

How about that?

Not bad

But I really think the Ancients were 101% human tho…

This is not directly related to the topic but I wonder…

…how did the Empire know Orta was a drone?

If the ancients could reproduce with regular humans… a half breed is the result. Of course I’m assuming the ancients weren’t human but at least human enough to copulate with humans.

How did the Empire know about Orta? Best bet: Abadd. Part of his deal with the Empire may have involved capturing Orta. I’m just speculating, however.

Well they Evren did call him traitor when he defended Orta…

…or was it becuase he attacked the dragonmares :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, like I said before I reject ( and I don’t often do that ) the remote ( IMO ) possibilty of the Ancients not beeing human…

Abadd created the dragonmares for the Empire using the cradle, in return for what? Their co-operation in capturing Orta of course. Thats how it always seemed to me anyway.

Shadow’s hit the mark.

Well then how do you explain the cutscene at the end of Episode 1?Why did they call him traitor?

now i know he didn’t attcaked until she(Evren) said that

He attacked Evren an co because they were going to kill our heroin… er, heroine.

Orta was too valuable to allow ignorant Imperials to end her life. In typical control-freak fashion, Abadd couldn’t allow it!

He needed her body after all, scientifically speaking.

Wow, this topic has marched off the beaten path.

Steers the discussion back to what it was originally.

Honestly, I would love to imagine the Sky Rider bowing to the Emperor, loyal to the end.

As we’ve seen with Abadd, drones may not always be loyal. If I’m not mistaken the records state that both the dragons attacked the Imperial capital. Theorize daddy :stuck_out_tongue:

But Lagi only attacked the Imperial forces getting in the way of its ultimate goal. The Empire wrongly attributed the capital’s destruction to the Heresy dragon when the exploding Tower and its minions were the real culprits.

The Sky Rider was originally heading for the Tower before his untimely death. Who can say if he was an Imperial or not? I love the outlandishness of it.

Perhaps they were both working for the Emperor? Some elite guard unit maybe? But once the Sky Rider found Lagi and proceeded to head towards the tower, his fellow officer was forced to bring him down.

In here somewhere theres an explanation for the Imperial ship that appears at the beginning of the canyon in the first PD1 cutscene.

Just wanted to say something else still related to Orta…

Shadow : Don’t forget that the Empire also wanted Orta…
Why kill her?Evren’s odres couldn’t be destroy the Orta cause the empire wanted her…

Still even if you forget the Mare Squadron there still is the Vermana battleship BEFORE the cutscene so don’t you ay they changed ideas cause of Abbad’s betrayal…

Geoff : You have Giri Girir? If so could you please take a shot of the guy in the Panzer Dragoon Zwei intro FMV??You know the ones who talks with the emperor…

I’m begining to think that is him in the pictures…

ā€œDena!!ā€ … :stuck_out_tongue:

Perhaps Vermana was attacking the dragon, not the girl?

That’s my point : how can you attack a dragon without hurting it’s rider ? :stuck_out_tongue:

kindda rethorical but you can try your luck :stuck_out_tongue:

Perhaps they didnt see her :stuck_out_tongue:

These ideas just keep getting better and better.

Gehn, the Empire failed to capture Orta at the beginning so decided it was best to kill her instead. I may be wrong.

Shadow, it’s obvious the Dark Dragon is a mindless pawn of Sestren, drone included.

The Sky Rider’s purpose and background are still open to question.
